Are there any plans for a new street fighter game?

There was that jack-ass that used to say that SF4 was going to be 2D and “animated by an anime studio” (Madhouse, IIRC?), then after a year or two he changed his story to “anime-like 3D cel-shading”…

it was actually announced awhile back that they were wroking on a new game in the darkstalkers series on cps3 but who knows what happened with that

I read somewhere that the planned CPS3 Vampire/Darkstalkers game was canceled in favor of Vampire Savior. Seems plausible, seeing as VS came out around when the CPS3 debuted, IIRC. Would have been nice to see a Vampire series game with CPS3-level animation, though…
