I can’t use either the Fightpad or the PS3 pad. PS3 pads used to be great for MK games, but that’s about it (for me). The Fightpad just has too much give as well as deadzone to be precise. The best control pad that I’ve ever used was the Saturn pad.
Yeh the mad catz fightpads are a piece of shit. That being said they do work well enough if you’re not a grappler or a charge character (bad diagonal response). With Ryu I was able to do pretty much all the moves with ease. But the worst thing is that the d-pads die after a while and just generally I don’t like the idea of using cheap stuff for fighting games.
