This doesn’t really fall within the topic of the thread, but I’d like to say that it’s total bullshit that some of the colors you can buy with FM are near-identical to some of the colors that you unlock in Survival.
Check out Zangief’s 2000FM color (#11 or #12 I think) and his #6 color. Even side by side you can barely notice a difference. He’s like 1% more tan in his 2kFM costume and he has tiny yellow trim on his boots.
Bison also has a similar situation, as I’m sure many other characters/colors do as well.

It’s all rubbish. I’m sure it’s already been mentioned here but surely a fairer way if you can’t unlock them over survival is to do it via character xp etc…

Just wait for the colors to go on sale. As much as I hate to admit it, I’d rather pay $2 (or whatever) for all the colors for a character than try to go through Survival Hard even once.

If you are doing Hell just for the title and achievement, I’d suggest you to pick Rashid and spam mk.Eagle Spike from 1 to 100. I found it even easier than the shoryuken spam “tech” with Ken.

spaming shoryuken and eagle spike doesn’t work too well
It does. Just wait for CPU to walk forward before throwing your Shoryuken/Eagle Spike. They take it in the face 100% of the time.
