yeah… a.i. is random as hell. There are times when you can jump in all day.
Try fighting against Birdie in training. Set the dummy to CPU with highest difficulty (lv8). This will help you. I did this with the characters that gave me trouble. They play pretty much the exact same way in training.
I will add that it doesn’t look like survival times are kept server side at all. Logged on to friends steam so we had all the costumes and colors while playing no record of survival or story mode being done other than all the unlocks that are kept track of online. The only downside is when my friend logged back in it did the same to his file no records at all just all the stuff was unlocked that he had before.
While all this is conjecture I highly doubt anyone would get banned for using this. At worse I think capcom will reset your account. I mean they don’t punish rage quitters outside of resetting points I assume the same punishment will follow if they ever punish cheaters.
I used the mod to make Survival 1 round, and unlocked all the colors for all the characters. I doubt Capcom will do anything about it, doubt they even can considering those records aren’t really saved anywhere and if you were to re-install the game all the records get reset.
And if I do get banned so be it, shame on me for wanting colors and diversity in my SF game like there used to be and not willing to grind their shitty Survival mode on every character, on every alternate costume. Fuck you Capcom.
It is what I do for Bison, Birdie and Necalli. The matter is that I can win in training with a small amount of life left, and in survival at level 46, 49 or 50 I have a small amount of life… so I can almost kill the opponent, but in the end I die instead. Also sometimes no matter if you know the pattern of the AI, it changes and block everything.

I’m fairly certain you cannot even buy these colors. Personally, the only thing I think is silly is having to go through for each costume, but it is a time sink. I think, if they are going to fix this, they will wait until the game has the real story mode content in it. It’s not a well liked mode, but it is a reason to play single player (I guess).

I finally beated hard mode with Ryu, without abusing DP. Very very lucky against Birdie lvl 46 and lvl 48 F.A.N.G, Bison almost killed me at 49 and low health bonus for Necalli, started with 1/3 health or less, hopefully I trained against necally a lot and I knew most of his pattern, but in the end I almost died… don’t want to do this painful mode again if Capcom don’t nerf it a bit.

That’s why I waited out on buying a season pass. Getting the characters for free means I’ll just buy the costumes I want separately. No guarantee that the 30 bucks was going to be worth it.

The fact that capcom doesn’t even acknowledge our complaints pretty much says this mode was designed to be this way to keep people from getting fm , but fuck man can we just get alternate ways to unlock colors? I mean seriously!?
some of the colors are way too good looking and I hate this mode so god damn much. On top of that the Level 50 colors are waaaay too much of grind considering the Rage Quit rates and shit. I’ve been trying to hard to get Ryu up there he’s only currently sitting at level 43.
This mode makes me hate the game overall really, it’s that bad, that’s why Im technically done with this game, I feel angry whIle playing it, I’m constantly reminded of all the stupid decisions aND lazy rushed developing with the hideous, stages that lag, and clipping etc… but this really puts me over the edge, I just don’t have fun playing this game, because even when I’m playing online with peeps all that stuff is festering in the back of my mind. This game to me is the console equivalent a mobile game with a pay wall, only even the pay wall doesn’t work because the incompetent morons can’t figure out how to charge real money for stuff lol
I told myself i would never do this shit again but here i am trying to get kens classic colors now and made it to level 36 and 46 on hard and got disconnected from server both times so im done THANK YOU SOOO MUCH CRAPASSCOM
