I just finished getting all the colours on normal. Cant get past 46 on hard, even with Ryu or Ken.
Even with it being 1 round that I won in a single hit it was still 51 rounds. The skipping intros/outros took forever too.
But screw it, I did it. Every level of it too with every character, I hope they make it so you just get the colors for new characters and outfits that we buy because if I bought a character/costume AND had to do this shit again I’d flip my fucking lid.
Do you get an achievement for unlocking all of the colors? I’m going to do it one way or another at some point but I was wondering about that.
I don’t think so just beating each difficulty once.

I think survival for colors is a neat aspect. I never cared too much about the colors, especially since theres no white ken this time around 
Yeah, achievements, FM, all that crap works the same way.
Interestingly enough it was something in my SFV folder in the C drive that prevented me from running the unpacked game.
The save seems to hold the settings from the “other options” menu, your completion from story,survival and tutorial as well as if you’ve seen the first time messages and your battle log.
When I say “completion” I don’t mean you can get extra FM by wiping your save and replaying SP content, you just don’t get the little flag. That’s all. So all the colors/titles I unlocked before didn’t go anywhere.
Needless to say, I took a gamble on removing my save and everything works just fine. Everything important gets saved to their end.

Oh man got to stage 44 today for the first time and lost. Smh If only the game could just find matches more faster. Anyway I’m trying again right now.

If get shit was fun and easy nobody will chose to pay
Same reason characters cost a fuckton of FM, people will be able to get them for free but then no FM for all other contents
Who get the season pass will have 6 char + 6 costumes without consume FM, so they will be able to use all these FM done with story/survival/levelling for other stuff
That’s the theory, reality is that PC users will get shit for free
So, after mashing Shoryuken for 45 mins, I finally beat Hard Survival.
And I feel kinda empty.
I mean.
I tried to fight as I normally do. But once I realised it’s so much better to just mash, I did that for the last 30 fights… Am I proud? Well, I’m more concerned that my arcade stick suffered because of this. Spending 1 hour at my regular job would have been more enjoyable. At least then I would have earned money. Money that I could have spent to buy the colors. Oh wait…

What going to be really funny is if you have to grind survival mode for color unlocks for DLC costumes. Sorry did I say ‘funny’? I meant highly likely and obnoxious.

Personally i just hope will be possible buy single colors at very cheap FM, i don’t like most of them (imho some of the most soulless boring 10 selections ever in a SF), but some single ones are very cool
As now i will buy probably 5-6 of these, maybe 10 is special color #11will be avaible
Hopefully when they will be tired to sell colors, in some upgrade version they will release that damn color edit mode
It will be possible do very cool stuff re-doing color schemes of SFV chars, but as now only PC users can do it (since beta lol)

Beat my record of Stage 43 on Hard today. Got up to Stage 45 and Gief went into instant Super Turbo input reading mode. So frustrating. So close and yet so far away. =(
