Can they even tell if someone has used a trainer? The scores for single player modes seem to only be handled client-side. I doubt they’ll bother doing anything anyway. I’m gonna grind the rest of them eventually but just need some time to breathe.

the files he linked above were local files on a PC…since you seem to know perhaps you can tell me the request in which survival or colors are associated? in theory this works but as far as colors go they seem to be encrypted, again find me one example of someone actually doing it this way without modding local files…
the requests sent after a survival win or loss are: fighterid, entitlements (this seems to be unlocks, but is just random encrypted text strings) and serviceid which looks like it’s tied to survival somehow (again good luck decyphering what it means) even with diff checks it’s hard to pinpoint what’s going on, you can spoof fight money for trophies, as well as character XP to unlock titles this way though, they won’t stick once the server gets a real response back but you keep all the unlocks regardless.
ps. this is a lot of work for colors, but locking them behind such a shitty, broken mode is what got us here in the first place.

sorry i missed it, i did some further testing and it looks like that info is sent in the fighterlicense request after survival, with the color added to entitlements in a random text string, testing on a loss vs. win and the only differences are more character XP gained, i tried taking a first round loss and adjusting xp values but couldn’t replicate the unlock, must be something else i’m missing…anyway send me a PM if you still have that pic/info please.

So I’m at a loss, I unpacked the game, replaced the files, removed the .pak files from the paks folder but now the game won’t start at all.
Can the game run unpacked? If yes, where did I go wrong? If no, how do I repack?
Also if possible it’d be great to just deal with the .pak that controls survival and not deal with the others.
The game does run unpacked (that’s how you use the mods). If the game isn’t starting it probably depends on where you placed the files after unpacking them.

I wish I knew which files to modify for Survival because the game runs Survival perfectly even when the Survival files are missing. @_@

So are you guys saying you can change the files into making Survival mode 1 match? And then you can put it back to normal after you’re done? Do you still get FM and shit for finishing it?
