New features for the home include HD anime cut-ins during supers, and a “simple mode” that will let beginner players perform combos through a single button press.

Wasn’t sure, I thought they might go the cheaper route of digital distribution. Either way, just glad it is happening and on the PS3.

After being away from SRK for a while, returning to see this is welcome news.

I’m going to try to keep my hopes relatively neutral though. I hope there aren’t any problems this time around.

Here’s to hoping Examu doesn’t screw us over again. BB’s netcode isn’t amazing, but I’ll take it lol.

I actually like BlazBlue’s netcode, for me it’s probably the best one out there (besides GGPO, obviously), especially since I’m in the middle of nowhere in terms of fighting game netplay… If it’s anywhere like that, then I’ll take it happily (heck, I’ll even take SSFIV level netcode, and that ain’t that bad either)…

Yeah, EVO’s gonna have to step it up with the amount of games being played.
I know they said they will have MvC3 and SSf4. Those 2 are givens.
but hell KOF13, MBAA, T6, TvC, MK, BBCS, and now AH3… damn.
To much hype.

Tekken 6 is almost a given as well. That leaves, at best, 3 open slots to new entries. I am torn in that list really. I love blazblue so I support that but I would be horribly torn between seeing Melty Blood again or Arcana Heart…

Oh and thank you for the Arcana Heart Avatars. I will certainly help to support the cause!

Edit: This was asked earlier, so I thought I would ask again. Is there a good place for arcana heart discussion like Dustloop for BB/GG and Meltybread for MB?

Yeah, I’m hoping they open up at least one more slot at EVO next year… With 2010 being an epic year for the fighting game genre, I’m hoping that we’ll see more titles represented… ^_^;;;

And no worries… I just did them half for fun (and out of boredom)…

…but if Arcana Heart 3 can get a spot on EVO, I’ll be ecstatic (and laughing out loud as well)… XD

I’m not trying to say or imply that BB has bad netcode. It’s not perfect, but it’s more than good enough for people without a scene.

Also, thanks a bunch for the AH avatars.

If MBAA:CC doesn’t get a current-gen port, it won’t be in next year, so sadly, count MBAA out. TvC won’t likely return for the same reason.

Tekken 6 will depend if 7 comes out.

Add Namco vs Capcom, VF5:FS and MK9 for competing a spot.

As far as I am aware, we have no confirmation of a console port for VF5:FS.
