It’s very often viewed as a pedobait game. There’s plenty of people who aren’t willing to overlook the aesthetics for the gameplay. Since it’s even more niche than typical FGs, ArcSys is rather unlikely to release it here unless they think they can make a decent profit.
@Master Chibi: From Tu101uk and Farpenoodle, they made the avatars out of the kindness of their hearts (And/or boredom lol). They should both be on the front page of this thread. I for one refuse to change mine unless Kira is in the same pose and isn’t obscured.
ArcSys is a step away from Aksys. And this game looks right up Aksys’ [media=youtube]oQteLbCcu1A"[/media]. I’m sure if they decide to pick this game up, they’ll do their thing and hype the game hard at AnimeCon’s and shit. Not to mention merchandising.
So, since there’s been tier discussions in this here topic, is there an actual tier list? I’ve heard conflicting stories about the AH3 tiers and whether they actually exist or not.

Gravelneed -> Yo mate, glad to see you join the hype train… PS3 is probably the way to go unless you have a Japanese XBox 360… I can probably bet though that the netplay will be better on Microsoft’s machine… And yes, for both systems, online should be OK, except with DLC, but you only need minor adjustments to get those as well… :S

Also. Hands up if you’re never using 16:9 mode. It looks like they cut off the top. I don’t know about you but considering how much vertical space matters in Arcana I want as much of it as possible.
As far as I’m aware from the info so far, Arc System Works is doing the porting…
It wouldn’t be the first time EXAMU have outsourced their games for porting (the previous two ports were, if I recall, handled by ECOLE of Melty Blood fame), and I don’t know of any games Arc System Works has published that they haven’t worked on themselves…
Of course, if someone who has read the Famitsu leak and/or online can tell me otherwise… >.>;;;
Thanks for the info. I’ve played AH3 at Austin, TX and it’s awesome. It’s a pain getting there sometimes so it would be awesome to have a console port of AH3.
I’m still thinking about which system to get…360’s got exclusives like Senko no Ronde 2 DUO, etc. but PS3 is region free and has got free online. Hmmm…
Oh, there are a few of us over here across the pond that love Arcana Heart (and not just my group of friends XD), but we usually don’t see these fighters in our arcades, so we don’t get any chance to play… T.T I envy you Texans (and protoman, though props to him for getting it and supporting your scene over there) for having it…
Yeah, I know of a few people who got the Japanese 360 for the shmups, so you wouldn’t be alone in that (Senko no Ronde does look awesome)… Free PSN online is tempting, but methinks the service on XBox Live! might be better (though I cannot say for the Japanese service)…
It really is up to you mate… ^_^;;; Though a deciding factor could be what everyone else will be playing it on… o_o;;; After all, you’d want to play as many online matches with as many different types of people as possible (assuming netplay isn’t crappy)…
Yeah I really want to get into the fighting scene. I have followed the Arcana Heart for a long time now. For the most part I’ve have to play at home. I would always looks at the tournament scene for Arcana 1 in NY. Now since I’ve played AH3 I can wait to play more people across the world.
