By the time I got the first one on PS2, CF already have Sugoi! then it disappeared? I’m pretty hype for this.
Amiami only opened their English site about a year ago, so I’m not surprised that a lot of people don’t know. The thing is, when people outside of Japan think of pre-ordering limited edition of games they immediately flock to Play-Asia (which can be like a rat race). Some stuff go quick on Amiami too, regardless, but it’s not like you lose if you blink, and you will usually be able to buy them for much lower price.
They sell hardware for retail price or lower as well. They have recently been stocking the new Japanese slim 360s too, so it wouldn’t hurt to check them out time to time if you’re interested.
One thing some people may not like is that they still don’t have a automated checkout system with credit card for international customers. Paypal is our only option for now.
All sounds good except for the last part. I am not a huge fan of paypal (don’t hate it, just don’t like doing business through them), but to get this game I will go through with it. I hope they set up a good option for check out by the time the game comes out later this fall.
I’m extremely excited for this! I started playing fighting games cause I liked Arcana Heart 1 but I never actually got any good. Now there will be comp and online play!!!
Question: I know the Japanese port of the game will run on my US PS3 (right?) what I wasn’t sure about was PSN support. Does an American PS3 have PSN support for Japanese games? Or will the game not have netplay for people with American systems?
It works just the same as if it was played on a Japanese PS3. I imported the BB:CT when it came out in Japan and I played US players just fine when that version came out.

Everyone’s average combo dmg is 6-9k now. 10k+ is reserved for CHs, large meter burning combos, and combos not starting with lights. I dunno what vids you’ve been watching, but I haven’t seen Kira do a combo that doesn’t break 8k for a while. Even a random 2B 623C 236236E with Metal at lvl1 can break 10k if all swords connect.

Anyway, Famitsu Online confirms that the animation cuts during super are refined in HD, and that the screen modes are 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios
I’ve got two of them, and I’ve been debating whether I should buy a PS3 lately, the only reason I haven’t yet is cause I don’t have an HDTV. When school starts I’ll be getting a new 23 inch moniter so I might as well get the PS3 soon after
just add a JP account if you ever use the JP PSN for DLC, however you must pay in Yen so you need a Japanese prepaid PSN or credit card
otherwise your US account can handle everything else the game offers
