Arcade World UK button quality

Hello!

I’m looking to build a Project Diva FT controller and a lot of people recommend the Sanwa OBSA-100UMQ however they are £40 per button and I’m after 8 of them. After having a look I noticed some similar 100mm buttons for 1/4 of the price at Arcade World UK. Being new to the whole arcade controller world these places are a mystery to me so are these standard “off brand” buttons good enough for what I need or should I splash a little on some Sanwas

If Sanwa is the ideal button, it’s probably better to go for some 60mm buttons rather than 100mm due to the price of them

Thanks

You get what you pay for.

Like how the price changes with the switches, the “standard” switch is by Yenox, a budget brand of arcade parts that don’t operate as smoothly as the other choices.
E-Switches are the “Standard” these days found in most Happs parts. Happs still is not the parts manufacture they used to be. But I hold Happ in higher regard than Yenox.
The Cherry switches are some of the best out there and worth every Penny.

That said Sanwa is an Arcade part manufacture who been around for a very long time and are known for quality.
Sanwa parts when proper care taken can last decades.

Also the RGB color of that button is just going to cycle though Red, Blue and Green and you can’t have it fix on a single color.
