Have any fellow hosers used Newegg.ca to order their TE stick yet? I’m considering buying from them but have seen mixed reviews just googling around.
I was uneasy about using newegg.ca as well, since they ship from outside Canada. ncix.com has the TEs in stock, and I price match’d with the newegg.ca URL, so I got it at $150 from ncix.com. Placed the order yesterday and it already shipped out today, should get here from Vancouver (I’m in Toronto) tomorrow or Wednesday. ncix is great, I love using them.
Aside from that, all brick retailers in Canada are selling them for closer to $190, if you can even find one with them in stick. Pacific Mall had one in stick for PS3, they were selling it for $270! No wonder it was still on the shelf…

Nono… woops :p. By brick, I meant a physical store retailer like EB, Future Shop… as opposed to an online retailer like amazon or newegg, which has no physical store you can go into to directly purchase an item. I wasn’t very clear, my bad.
NCIX seems like the way to get the stick in Canada though, & the cheapest… I hear Americans can get the stick as low as $130 from the US Newegg! Makes me jealous…
Its not that much different. Newegg takes about a week to come in. My TE stick came in 1 week after I ordered.
Lightning struck me twice. First run of the TEs I just walked into my local GameCrazy and they had one. I just did it again today, and now I have 2 lol. I feel sorry for whoever pre-ordered one and didnt get it.
HOWEVER, this time, my little packet with the info/headset adapter was taped to the facade of the stick and left all kinds of residue, even on one of the buttons. Well, Im off to walmart for some goo gone…
you got lucky… buy can take anywhere from 4 days to 2 weeks… they are very iffy on the free shipping… and plus, you get $20 back from newegg…

newegg is usually pretty fast with their shipping. besides its 20 bucks cheaper and its tax free. i dont know if its tax free for other states, but i just purchased one sunday to have sent to arizona and it was tax free and according to the tracking it should arrive today or tomorrow.

I seen that too, but I live 1 hour away from the closest one, but I work 5 minutes away from that same one.
I have no doubt that they will have another “1 day” sale on them and then I will pick up another one if I am at work.
