I ended up just getting the bundle, atleast it has free shipping I guess. The other cheapest sticks I could find for 360 were all around 200 but atleast you get a little something extra with the bundle. If I had any experience with joysticks I would have probably just got the SE and ordered new parts later on, but this being my first arcade stick I’ll go the extra mile so I don’t have to mess with anything.
I called local gamestop to see if they had any TE’s. and the guy said “nope you wont get one unless you spend 600 dollars on ebay” I was just like… rrriiiighhhhttt.
What’s the verdict on the HARPEX? Is it a quality stick overall and how does it stack up against the TE?
Anyone who has some experience with the HARPEX, or especially with both sticks, please let me know what the deal is.
I say get the madcatz stick, anyone can make the argument that madcatz makes shitty accesories, and yes they do make crappy stuff, but when it comes with the TE stick, it is pretty legit. Its solid and the design is genius, in terms of easy mod-ability. It comes with all sanwa parts too. The EX in terms of design, is quite flawed, u got the retarded placement of the mic, getting into the area to switch the buttons is a tiresome task if you want sanwas or seimitsu buttons. Its responsive nonetheless, but i think you get your moneys worth with a TE stick. Thats why i sold my HRAP EX

DO you think the release of the PC version will cause the demand to go up for these sticks? I may be able to lock down a 360 version of the TE stick for 149. SHould I do that or wait to see whats out when the PC game is released in JULY?
