Arcade Stick on Windows 8

I got a new laptop with windows 8 and I’ve been trying to use my PS3 Arcade Stick on it. When I connect the arcade stick to my laptop, the buttons aren’t responding. I’ve been trying the six-Axis driver, but nothing is working. Does anybody know how to make PS3 Arcade sticks work?

You’ll need to specify which exact arcade stick you’re talking about.<br>

huh interesting…I have the exact same problem. I have a mad catz TE stick (first gen) and it was working ok in my old computer and win7 but my new one with win8 is a no go. Its not using a NVidia chipset and Ive tried connecting it to both the intel usb ports and the asmedia ones. The device shows up in devices as a PC USB Wired Stick 8838 but when I try to button check in properties it doesn’t respond at all. Anyone have any ideas?

Does nobody check the stickies anymore?
