Arcade stick for DC and PS3?

Is there a controller than can be used on both? I wanna play MvC2 and SF4 but don’t have high hopes for MvC2 on PS3…

your best bet is to look for some converters (DC to USB, PS1 to DC, etc)

get a psx/2 stick and buy converters

why do you think that MvC2 is going to suck on PSN and XBLA? i haven’t seen any reason to be worried and am totally stoked that it’s coming out. why wouldnt’ you just wait to play it and get a controller for PS3?

Of course you could always throw in 2 PCBs. As far as I know, the PCBs in some of the third-party DC controllers are common ground; throw in a PS1 DualShock PCB and you’d be good to go; those DC controllers are cheap now, so that path could spare you a few bucks assuming you already have the tools needed to solder and whatnot.

lol. The XBLA and PS3 versions are just going to be straight ports of the DC version, so I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

Has this been completely confirmed? How come the PS2 version sucked so badly?

backbone also made SFIITHDR for XBLA and PSN and that was kickass.

oh, and sven’s blog (on capcom unity) also confirms it is the dreamcast version here.

Actually, I was gonna take my DC stick and just use a PS1 Dualshock PCB so I can still make use of my DC stick =P

Anybody know if Sanwa buttons will snuggly fit in the agetech DC stick case? I wannna mod it, but I’m wondering if the task is more troublesome than modding a Hori =/

You’ll need to file down the holes. I used a dremmel and that worked perfectly fine. You don’t need to file it down too much, just enough to get the buttons to fit snugly. That’s if you’re using snap-ins, at least.

Dremmel? Is that a filing tool?

Dremel is a popular brand for rotary tools.

Many people use Dremel as genericized trademark though. :arazz:
Like Band-Aid for bandage.
ChapStick for lip balm.
Xerox for photocopy.
Kleenex for tissue.

Hoover for vacuum cleaner

I just used a rounded file for filing button holes, just as good.

Okay, I see. I’ll be sure to pick that up then =P

:/:)(

If anyone is interested i have the pcb out of a agetec dc stick. Can be used for a dual mod.
