Arcade Shock Communication

Same here. That’s why I’m asking what kind of shipping they got. Since mine is Priority Shipping Delivery Confirmation I don’t have a tracking code, only a label number and i’m not sure if those updated info of them is from the label number.

No updated information on mine, had mine shipped Priority just like everyone else it seems.

I think the label number is also considered the tracking number when it comes to Delivery confirmation.

I’m suffering ten times more since i have no idea on what the letter carrier will do. Will he leave the package in front of the house or take it back to the post office? Only time will tell.

My regular mail man just gave me it. No updates or anything. No signature (which I expected since it was delivery confirmation).

My stick came with a KOF '02 poster haha.

You’re lucky >D

Yeah… i had to go to the post office to get mine. Mailman was too lazy to walk with it. i got the kof poster too :P… its hilarious to see how awful i am with the stick. oh well… practice practice…

What did you have to take with you to retrieve it from the post office?
And how big is the box? can anyone post pics please?

Does that mean that the mailman left in a secure place?

Everybody got their sticks and disappeared.

Help? No help?

Just stopping by to tell that I got that stick and many others even to this day from Arcade Shock.

Thanks a lot for all the help SRK!

Super necro was hilarious once I realized the thread was 5 years old.

why would anyone buy sticks from arcade shock to begin with?

You have to be educated to reality to understand Arcade Shock’s place in things…
From my personal dealings with them, I think they’re reliable and they carry what they say they do.

Arcade Shock sometimes has exclusives and parts you cannot get anywhere else in the mainland US.
That’s why you sometimes look and buy from an online vendor.
You can complain about costs but nobody forces you to buy from anyone. There are search engines and other websites you can browse before you commit to buying from anyone.
I don’t understand attitudes of hostility towards web shops or frankly why people bother to blast them in these threads unless they haven’t delivered product and services you already paid for AND have not taken steps to correct whatever customer service issues you have… The good sites and shops DO listen to complaints and DO take corrective action. Sometimes it’s a day or two before you hear back from them but you have to give them time to get back to you and, in the meantime, be patient! In the mean time, you can be a responsible adult, behave online and in public, and stop thinking the world revolves around you because I can assure you that it doesn’t revolve around single person whether that’s you or me.

Before you blast Arcade Shock or ANY hardware/joystick vendor, be aware that sometimes it costs much more to import joysticks direct from Japan than buying them from a US vendor who has connections in Japan.
The HRAP Diamond VLX (PS3) joystick, for instance, cost at least $500 to get direct from Japan. You had to buy it through middlemen because Amazon.jp, the exclusive seller, would NOT ship product outside of mainland Japan! The middleman mark-ups plus shipping charges added another $150-$200 on top of the MSRP of the joystick.
The HRAP Diamond VLX apparently didn’t sell that well and Arcade Shock was able to negotiate a good deal to enable them to buy unsold Amazon.jp inventory of that joystick and resell it in US. They sold their HRAP Diamond VLX stock for initally around $325-$350. $325-$350 for a Japan-only joystick like the HRAP Diamond VLX is not so bad then! That’s a heck of a better deal than the $500-$600 other people paid for Japan-direct shipments of the same piece of hardware…
There was an earlier, less restricted HRAP VLX release that was black with red-top panel. Everybody that could was allowed to sell that… The Amazon.jp releases not so much unless they had channels for negotiation and could import them like Arcade Shock.

Again, nobody forces you to shop from anyone… that’s a personal choice.

I think arcade shock is kind of shady from my personal dealings with them. I know of others who feel the same way. Im not complaining about their prices. You are right about that. Nobody is forcing you to buy from them. They tried to convince me that the dents in my diamond vlx were normal and basically on every stick. When I asked for a new stick, their response was that they will send me a new stick but it won’t be sealed (because he has to inspect it) and that it will have the dents in it still because it comes from the factory like that.

  1. I refuse to believe HORI would produce a 300 dollar stick that comes flawed straight from the factory.
  2. I asked around for pictures of diamond vlx from other forum members and they did not have the dents.
  3. Basically saying that he’s going to send me the same stick back that I complained about. (assumption)

I had to convince him not to open it. Told him that theres no point in him opening it if he says all the sticks have the dents in it. They sent me a new sealed stick and it did not have any of the dents from the first stick.

They also take your custom ideas and make it their own one of a kind stick.

I only bought from them once but I won’t ever do it again. This is just my experience.

Wow o.o crazy
