Summary:
3 month seasons, 3 tournaments per game. Each game has one tournament per month.

You?re only paying what you normally would to get into the arcade, so please stay and play after the ranbats are finished! Arcade Legends also regularly hosts other tournaments where additional entry fees make up much larger cash prizes.

The list of games is subject to change depending on popularity.

I’m taking suggestions for ranbat after party tournament games for August. I was thinking of KOFXII and TvC for the 8th. I was going to make TvC a cheapie (like $2) to try and drum up some interest in the game before it’s December US release. I have PS2 to GC converters so there will be fight sticks to use.

Some other games we still haven’t run but could - Vampire Savior (Darkstalkers 3), Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting, X-men vs Street Fighter, Puzzle Fighter II, HNK, Samurai Showdown III, Soul Calibur IV, Killer Instinct 2

Vampire , SC4 , But I would love to see some KI action.

Jesse, would XvSF be on Saturn? Please say no and say you have a cab for it

XvSF would be in a cab arcade style! Our CPS-2 is the Spanish version but obviously game play is the same

As long as everyone says “ay, no!!!” when they die i’m down with this

If you have a KOFXII tourney on any of these dates I will try to make it out. I am about some HNK, SS3, and XvSF too.

Aside from KOFXII and TvC - SCIV, JoJo’s (because I’ve never played it and am curious), and Puzzle Fighter are tops on my list.

XvSF would be cool as well.

I didn’t know everyone was down with XvsSF. No one has mentioned it before. Looks like an early front runner

hell ya id be down for tvc and kof 12 if needed i can bring my wii with tvc i got a wii stick and a classic troller too and i can bring a 360 for kof 12 if needed

I’m the only dissenter here…throw into infinite :wtf: no thanks.

XvSF is garbage. 1 hit = death if you know how to play the game.

Fortunately, most people don’t, so it can still be fun. And somehow it’s apparently still fun at high level too, thought that game seems pointless as hell

XvSF is a lot of fun if you’re not trying to go for easy wins.

Jesse, I’ll probably be there for the SFIV/3s ranbat again. Any idea what you’d like to run afterwards? 1 vote for HDr =)

I haven’t decided on the games just yet. Keep putting in your votes and I will decide sometime next week.

Also, anyone who has or knows someone who has a PS2 or PS3 fight stick to sell for a reasonable price, please have them contact me. I know the Trading Post has them up regularly but they are usually pimped out expensive sticks. Basically I’m looking for a decent but fair deal to have an extra stick for those who don’t have their own. I can get one of those Hori sticks fairly cheap now but I’d like something a bit better

I have a modded Mayflash with sanwa parts that is ps2/3 compatible i want to sell. I was having some issues when I was using it on a pc but the ps2 it works fine for. Worst case you could just throw in a cthulu board in place of the cheap mayflash pcb. Gonna sell it for 70 shipped but I could bring it on the 8th and you could test it out to see if you want it for $55. The sanwa parts are gently used.

Me and a couple Indiana players will be there on the 8th. +1 for BB after ranbat tourney.

Please do bring it and I will see if it works for me. Sounds like a good deal. Thanks Mario

Sounds good. Also, want to change my vote from BB to KOF12 as the after ranbat tourney game. I can bring my copy of KOF12 if you guys need it.

The first after ranbat tourney on 8-8 will be for KOFXII. $5 buy-in. I am about to post that up.

We’ve also added HDR to the 8-8 ranbat games. No extra money to play. Same weekly prizes but no season prizes. It’s mainly for fun and a chance to get free admission to the next tourney. Hopefully some more people will be interested since we will then be running a SF in 3 forms. HDR will run once SFIV & 3s are winding down and we can use the other PS3’s.

Also, we have been offered a STREET FIGHTER 1 arcade machine that hopefully we will have soon. If we do, I would like to add that on as a cheap ($2 buy-in) tournament during KOFXII and that would cover all the SF bases. There’s really no way for us to know until it shows up so I will keep everyone posted. Unless the guy backs out, I’d imagine we’d have it next week. How do you guys feel about the SF1 tourney for $2?

Nice, HDR love! I’d enjoy a SF1 arcade tourney for two bucks. And good stuff on KOFXII as the 8-8 after tourney. I’m hoping people latch onto that game.

Thanks for adding HDr! Nathan, do you wanna update the first post so people’ll know?
