Can I show up for just casuals? I’m nowhere near good enough to actually compete.

Sure, there is no need to enter the tournament. Many people won’t enter for all the games anyway. Casuals will be running when a tournament is not in progress on that game.
The cabinet has some random stuff like the metal slugs, but pretty much everything is fighters. Why just come and learn from some of the best :).
I don’t play many of the games either. I’m not that great at any of the fighters and I have several friends that are coming that are the same way. It’s just fun to play against people, especially knowing you are going to get killed. Be proud of a single round win, I know I am :).

1 is the official start time for casuals. I will probably be here by 10 at the latest getting the drinks ready and finishing up a few things.
FYI all. Since it starts at 1, we won’t be providing lunch. We will start to roll in the pizzas around 5-6ish.

First off, I want to thank everyone for coming. This was more of a trial for us to see how many we could expect when doing a tournament like this. Of course with the new games coming out, it did tell us that the old ones seem to be dying a bit.
Big thanks to the Tristan, Abe, Rochus, Aaron and Marvin for helping get setup and running the tournaments for select games. I appreciate all the help guys, it was you that made everything run so smoothly.
We had 40 or more people crammed into the little space, but no one complained. I do want to apologize to the marvel guys from phoenix, sorry we had to axe that tournament as you were the only 4 that wanted to play. At least I got Ali his stick, hopefully that made the trip worth it.
Again, thanks to all for showing up and thanks to those that did help that I didn’t mention. You know who you are :).
