Arcade Fightstick Tournament Edition LS / DP / RS issue !Help!

Olla,
beforehand I want to apologies for my bad English knowledge.

I’ve got myself an Arcade Fightstick Tournament Edition and played about 1 1/2 year now (the switch was all the time on DP) and everything worked intended.
But since yesterday my joystick (directions) won’t get recognized by the Game SF4AE, all buttons still work perfectly.
Only when i switch the mode to RS my joystick will get recognized and I can play. The problem with RS and LS is that your inputs from the joystick getting held for like .4 - .5 sec.
That makes it un-enjoyably.
In SFxT and KOF everything works intended on DP mode.

My Question now is; wtf is wrong with my Stick/SF4AE?

I hope someone can help me.

are you playing on PC or console?
Its odd that DP would work in some games and not other

I’m using a PC.
OP: Windows 64bit

Some PC games do not like using the POV Hat so you have to use LS instead of DP.

I would suggest uninstalling the controller driver for the stick then plug the stick back in and let it re-install the drivers.

@Darksakul I played Sf4AE 1 1/2 year with DP on and suddenly the game cant be played in DP ? don’t think so

@ChaoticMonk Already did that and still the same issue.

I’ve had multiple times where I’ve had to use a different setting other than DP in SSFIVAE PC. Instead of dismissing posts from someone as helpful and relevant as @Darksakul , you should probably listen to him and give it a try.

@ FrankCastleAZ did you even read my post ?

It’s getting depressive that i can’t solve this problem…

Yeah I read your post and your replies as well. If you’re asking for advice, one of the first rules is (courtesy of Wil Wheaton):

I’m assuming you’re using a PS3 Round 1 or Round 2 stick, as they had issues with some motherboards and some had issues with not being recognized properly via USB. Am I correct?
What version of Windows are you using?

Have you looked at the inputs through the Windows game controller properties?
Start > Run > joy.cpl
Test out the individual directional settings while viewing them in the properties area and let us know what you find.

My Stick is for the Xbox.
According to the joy.cpl every button works on LS / DP / RS, but the Stick only works on DP.
This gives me even a bigger WTF is wrong…

Xbox 360 versions of the Mad Catz Round 1 and Round TE PCB also have some issues, especially the round 1 PCBs.

Essentially we’re just testing at this point.

  1. When you switch to the different modes are you unplugging and plugging back in each time or just switching on the fly? I don’t think it matters on a XBox360 TE as it does with some dual and/or multi mod boards which will boot up in different modes. It’s still worth a try.

  2. Also try plugging into 360 and testing LS and confirming it works and then plugging into PC without switching modes. Repeat for RS.

  3. Have you tested it on any other PCs?

  4. What version of Windows are you running?
