So I just watched those videos you posted and apart from any match with Konomi in it, (Jesus christ I had no idea I could get that aggravated by a single character. Does not bode well for the rest of the “moe” cast.) the primary things that make me go “uurrrrrggggh…” are the nearly constant dating sim music and the ridiculous activation music/background change.
Other than that, the game actually looks pretty neat. And there were some things in there that made me go, “Yo, that’s pretty sick.” Mainly in the second video. But yeah, considering it’s day 1 footage that’s rather impressive.
So my stance right now is that I’d probably give the game a shot if I had the opportunity, but if Konomi is top tier then fuck that. Fuck that bitch. Then again like I’m going to get the chance to play it anytime soon. Lol.
Konomi mirrors are oh god no, but whatever. The activation music is only for singer assists, of which there seems to be two, as far as I can tell. (notice there’s no background character until activation) I’m not sure what the blue one does, but it’s something you’ll only ever see paired with certain characters. Damage scaling on CCs is a bitch.
Either way you’ll see Konomi because she looks like the Heart of this game. Uppercuts for days.

Game looks really interesting. KOF style gameplay and pace with animu characters. Nice to see guard breaks (are they certain moves or is there a gauge? I couldn’t tell >.<) to encourage aggressive play and counter assaults to break up relentless rushdown (I’m looking at you, Konomi >.<). Damage looks a little on the low side outside of combo > super/level 3, and with two health bars a round, this currently looks like the best way to do serious damage.
Regardless, I can’t wait to try it out (if ever T.T). Come on console port!
Konomi (why, EXAMU, why? T.T) and Touka (though she is still flashy and badarse) looking good right now on Day 1, as is the White Album idol assist. Karura is slow but is just awesome (love her Level 3, magma coming out of the effin’ ground, baby! XD). Can’t wait to see what the Japanese can come up with in the run-up to SBO… :3

this game is pretty fun, too bad theres a few strong players hanging out at my arcade, making it almost impossible to practice without burning a hole in my wallet lol
Yeah, it lets you cancel pretty much everything while it lasts. But it has a ~30 second cooldown after you use it. Might be a bit all-or-nothing considering how high damage this game looks.
