FORMAT / RULES:
• ROUND 1 – April 7th, 2012 @ 10PM EST. = Won by Ganelon
• ROUND 2 – April 21th, 2012 @ 10PM EST.
• Round 3 Cancelled
• Grand Finals – April 21th, 2012 @ once round 2 is complete
• In order to help keep pings as low as possible, we’re restricting it to players from America, Canada and Mexico.
• PING LIMIT: 160ms(IF YOUR PING IS OVER 160ms WHEN CHECKED BY A TOURNAMENT ORGANIZER, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE!)
• PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR PORTS ARE FORWARDED CORRECTLY BEFOREHAND, IF THERE ARE ISSUES WITH YOUR CONNECTION, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE.
• All matches in Round One and Round Two are 2 OUT OF 3 games and DOUBLE ELIMINATION.
• WINNERS FINALS, LOSER FINALS are 3 OUT OF 5 games. Elimination from Losers/Bump to losers bracket if your in winners.
• NO CHARACTER LOCK. Loser may switch characters, Winner MUST stay with the same character.
• Akuma is banned in all matches.
• Zangief’s “magic grab” glitch is banned in all matches.
• Anyone who is caught using macros or turbos, will be DISQUALIFIED and BANNED.
• Any excessive unsportsmanlike behavior will result in a BAN. Fight like gentlemen ;]
• If two players cannot connect, the staff will go off who they see attempting to fight more. If a decision can’t be made a coinflip will determine the winner.
**GRAND FINALS: **
• FIRST TO 10
• NO CHARACTER LOCK. Loser may switch characters, Winner MUST stay with the same character.
• If the loser bracket winner wins, the match will reset at 0 - 0 and the fight will start over as a FIRST TO 3.
• If the winner bracket winner wins, he will be crowned champion.
AfterMath:
• If the tournament doesn’t run smoothly or active(with 16 people), the winner will get 25 dollars sent to their bank account or paypal.
