I remember back in primary school when I would race home to watch G4 while breezing through my math homework.
Now it’s just fucking Cops, some other television shows and films I’ve never knew existed because I didn’t even exist back then, and a bunch of moronic, drunken college students getting arrested. Speaking of stupid college students, I suck at mathematics now. :sad:

It might have worked well for G4 in the earlier years, but now? Nope. Doesn’t stand a chance against the internet.
To be fair, you can say that about almost ANYTHING TV related. Anything you can find on TV, you can find on the internet on your own schedule.

I use to wake up early at my friends house and watch that show that runs cinematics/trailers.
I’d rather watch something then click around for hour. II end up spending the same amount of time.
I’m really surprised they don’t just make Gametrailers a TV network and run old ass stuff. Gt.on doesn’t work anymore, lol.
Which is why more TV manufacturers are incorporating internet capabilities with their TV’s. It’s going to come to a point where your living room TV,PC’s and the internet are all one thing. Technically things like this already exist but it will become mainstream eventually.
Lmao that show was so fucking awful but it was even worse because nobody knew who jamie kennedy was and nobody knew about the show. just really awkward moments.
I remember when g4 merged with Tech TV.
I haven’t had G4 on my cable for over a decade. Nothing was lost.
im surprised the whole channel wasnt removed all together sooner! the Constant Re runs of Cops and cheaters were ridiculous. i miss the days of Tech tv Arena and icons

G4 was better when it was called Tech TV. The cancellation of these two shows was bound to happen sooner or later, especially when their popular hosts left them. They probably saw what was happening and bounced.
I’m hoping that once this channel dies, it will be reborn as a real nerd culture channel again. So much potential.

Two of the nicest people I’ve ever seen on tv too. There was Morgan (blond hair at one time), Megan, Yoshi, Kevin and
others too. G4 really is a joke that shouldn’t have ever existed too. I believe it was Ziff Davis TV (publishers of EGM?)

I heard sessler didn’t actually leave, he just refuses to do that hollow shell of a show and instead works in the back making shit online. Like “sesslers soapbox” and all that. It also used to make me sad when I wished for the return of cheat and I realized that even if they did bring it back, they would have nothing to make a show from. Games dont have cheats anymore. I guess they could call it “Industry references!” and do a week long thing everytime a new borderlands comes out 
Its unfortunate both shows had there highlights over the years in there previous in both incarnations but went downhill in the past few years since the merger. I stopped watching long before Sessler left but every once in awhile I’d flip to the channel and keep it on for nostalgia of Tech TV. Its a shame to see once great programs and channels becoming shadows of their former selves.
They can rename Cheat into DLC. All they’ll do is just talk about all the lovely DLC these days, how awesome it is, and how it’s not totally a scam and money grubbing when it’s on the disc!
