Well I do still watch them from time to time and I will be sad to see them go. And Sara underwood is really hot for a playboy model.

People haven’t watched the channel for years and for good reasons.
Such a shame…This channel used to be an actual reason for me to have the TV on in the background and now it’s a not even near a shadow of it’s former self. So any bets on how much longer before this channel fades from existence in it’s entirety? Spike will probably completely take over E3 for the TV now anyway.

Does anyone remember the MGS2 release week marathon? And then all the salt. 
My parents didn’t have cable and I never wanted cable when I moved out. The times I did catch the network at hotels, it had Ninja Warrior and the other obstacle show. I did notice they had a lot of Cops the last time I checked. Oh well, television is wack anyway.
At first when I saw your post, I was thinking what the hell the Naruto and Dragonball games had to do with your post, since they are the games where you mash out cinematics like grabs in WWE games. But then I realized you were talking about “those anime games without an anime” .

Loved the network years ago. But now? The only thing that really makes me sad is that when the network finally dies, it’ll won’t go out in a bright fire. It’s just a shit-covered shell of what it used to be, and I can’t think of anyone who’s sad about it going away beyond nostalgia.
I remember when G4TV’s parent company wanted more money out of DirectTV, and DirectTV said NOPE. End result has been me not watching G4TV for over a year. Aside from Ninja Warrior, can’t say I miss that garbage network.
I still remember watching X-Play when it was still called GameSpot TV with Sessler and Lauren Fielder (and then Kate Botello) in front of Gauntlet: Dark Legacy and Rival Schools cabs and later in the now dead arcade in the Metreon. ZDTV/TechTV was a GDLK channel that was ahead of its time, but too ahead…
haha, every time there’s some news about that network, it’s bad news. Sarah and Candice are a good hot/cute combo of eye-candy, but (surprisingly) even that hasn’t been enough to keep me watching AOTS anymore, and I haven’t watched X-play at all since Sessler left.

It’s like my daily dose of funny videos, memes, tech, movies, new dvds, game reviews, news, etc.
NBC needs to re-create the magic of Kevin Pereira and Olivia Munn and create another show like Attack.
Nah, Morgan was legit. She at least knew her stuff, the rest of them you can tell aren’t really gamers.
No such thing as the true G4, the legacy you’re remembering is TechTV. And the true TechTV is still around, check out Revision3 and TWIT. Sessler better end up on Rev3, he’d fit right in.

Its been about 5 years since I gave a shit about it… Maybe a little longer. I miss the old times… I remember when cheat had the dude running the show and I thought it was a piece of shit. I understood it was filler… As there are a million cops jokes already… That worthless show was better than cops.
Just remembered they played the greatest show in the history of all times.

I hated G4 for so many years now since it allowed Cops, Cheaters, and even Star Trek to dominate it’s channel. The fact that they still consider themselves as “tv for gamers” even though the only have 1 show dedicated to video games pisses me off. Just thinking about how it use to be compare to now saddens me. Oddly enough, so does the fact that it’s being cancelled also disappoints me.
Call me out here, but it just seems do damn easy to revive G4 to it’s former glory. Hell, it could be even better. Take what’s always in the front page of twitch. They could of have a show dedicated to competitive play and their big broadcast events. They could easily have an episode solely on LoL or SC2. Hell, they could bring ‘Arena’ back and have their own tourney like they use to. Sponsors for that won’t be much different than what other streams receive (Razer, Madcatz, IGN, etc.). Maybe that would give them a lot of Korean views. That sure as hell could of made esports popular.
Besides Arena, it wouldn’t kill them if they had decide to bring back their other oldies just as long as they don’t slaughter it like they did with Filter. Icon could come back to cover some of these newer development teams. Every game nowadays have fancy cinematics. That’s where Cinematech comes in. G4tv.com was a neat talk show. Bring in some of these talkative journalist in and there you go (like the bunch escapist have). Basically, they had a lot of good shows when they started. Why not bring them back? Why not revitalize? Why not do something?
All of this feels like a missed opportunity. Too bad it came down to this.
