yeah ive been messing around with deejay and he is a bit nasty. i still havent been able to catch anti air slide into ultra though.

I’m going to assume that it’s just a combination of new game + trying out new characters, but you guys are resurrecting all of your bad habits like it’s Altered Beast. Here’s the CliffNotes of what went wrong:

Way too many focuses too. You guys are acting like I don’t have a fast armor break that goes under your focus attacks. But seriously, stop mashing on throw. It’s one thing to throw me when I fuck up a kunai trap, it’s entirely another to whiff 3 throws in a row, when i’m in the air, multiple times in a match.

Maybe i’ll be happier when I stop missing my ultra combos. GG’s.

I’m trying Makoto now. I’m actually getting a few wins against bads, but it’s hard to say that I’m doing anything other than spamming dash punch…

Lol, only reason you see me whiff throws so much is because his c.LK, c.LP is ass for ticking. It pushes me back waaaay too far.

It’s not like vanilla cast where you jab, jab, slight forward, tick. He has to move forward quite a bit.

Yeah, I really like the art style they’ve chosen for the game, the very comic book looking direction.

It will be interesting to see it moving at such a fast pace, but good thing the MT frameworks engine will allow it. I’m just glad that seth has stated gameplay wise it is will be closest to MVC2

There was slowdown in TVC wasn’t there?

Everything that went on in mvc2 slowed down the machine often; i wonder if that will be a problem with new graphics.
