Hey I have gotten better than the majority of people on my friends list and I am looking for a sparring partner on xbox live to advance my skills further as I feel I am in neutral skill wise with my current group. I am an above average player (not great) that is really looking for someone better to help bring him along bit by bit and get better from playing each other. Obviously there are players better than me THAT I KNOW, but they are all kind of whiny and annoying when I start to beat them. Also they tend to be absolutely unwilling to talk shop so to speak so they can maintain their advantage. And yes I understand why they do that but I am looking for a teacher and that attitude just hits me as a bit childish.
I am all about sharing ANY strat and just want to learn I am all about progressing my marvel game and anyone elses if I can help. Making someone a better opponent with advice, forces me to get better as well so its all good :badboy: I play 10-12AM and 10PM-1AM on XBOX LIVE most weekdays I definitely am looking to play someone consistently. Also I play 3/4’s of the cast pretty admirably so I can definitely give you variety as an opponent.

Lol its in the eye of the beholder. I have had a half hour to spare before work numerous occasions gives me time for 4 matches or so. I have noticed that even when I send a message that says gg’s I gotta go to work now, I will get a message back every once in a while saying I am running scared, a bitch or some other shit. Basic problem is the Internet has people on it and people are idiots even if you give em no reason.
I have actually been lucky to meet WAY more cool people than aholes. Though my least favorite type of player is what I call the “narrator”. That is the person who talks every f’n second describing to you why every move you make is bullshit and cheap. I have picked Dan and still been accused of being cheap, I just let that shit go and egg em on a bit if its funny.

I always think to myself that if you getting mad over a game then what does that tell you about that person? Fail at life IMO.

While my mummy is irritating yours would be in their nightmares. Also I like Anak and Ironman but I want a new third besides sonson any suggestions?
Also as an aside I definitely gotta start playing dudes as good as you to get better. 70% of random people do not give me the challenge like they used to a few months ago. It is time for me to take my lumps again to step my game up begrudgingly.

hmm. iono. you could try doom, psy, or cyclops with them. I feel sonson is really important for anak but the ones I just listed aren’t bad. I feel more comfy with sonson with anak…or doom or psy with IM. cyc is really good though too.
anak+psy also has a curse infinite (not that it matter too much since you have IM)
go to the good games thread and get some names. request some friends or at least see if you can get invited to rooms with some good players. it should def. help…though they might not be as caught off guard from anak after playing mines and derek’s
also, have you tried anak/storm/sonson? that team is pretty fierce and a better team to learn with. the synergy is better and an overall better team
Been using Anak with Guile (weird pairing I know) and a sweep to flash kick superXXto Coffin Drop super (most coffins will hit if timed right) is simple and it hurts. I feel like there is more to those to working together than I have thought of at this point.
And word I would help you but I know there is a trillion of people with more knowledge on that team so I will save my breath lurk around in their character forums for some help.

word: Like I did when teaching myself this game…there is a wealth of information in these forums. just research everything (that’s how I did it). just about every question has been answered. especially for a team like MSP. if that’s still not enough (I doubt it won’t be…but just incase…) then ask specific questions in the related threads of the character (there should be at least 1 sticky or active thread especially for mags/storm/psy)

Titan I saw a few of your vids and we do play a bit diff Hulk
Biggest thing with my Hulk is I am a VERY good guesser so I catch a ton of people with gamma charge then gamma crush. My typical offense with Hulk is to jump in with lk and layer in doom for chip its real frustrating when I am on my game and forces people to slip up. When they try and punish doom BAM gamma crush. Also you would be proud I have just started implementing your reset into my game plan though I have had trouble getting people with Hulks Launcher to start it off.
That said you have posted way more tricks that If I ever implemented them I would be even deadlier. I really gotta learn GB’s and Infinites with consistency to get to that next level. The stuff is all there I just gotta get my execution/ muscle memory down to do it and trust me when school is out this summer its on.
i actually forgot about showing threads from the beginning and actually found a lot of useful info from when players like mixup were discussing stuff (back in 2004) i think. i still have one question tho, can the switch glitch still work on 360 and ps3 marvel?
