So i just picked this game up recently, and no one plays this game anymore! Its a ghost town, either that or i have to search for 30 plus minutes for a game. Its sad cause i want to play some people online and see if it is as bad as people have said.
There’s still a good amount of people playing. It’s just that we now make all of our rooms private and nobody can find them. This is to make sure that we don’t have to play laggy games as most people that do private invite games do it so they can fight with their friends or people with yellow connections.
@Fightmore: I play frequently, usually in the early evening (7pm - 10:30 pm Central). Add me if you’d like. I live in Oklahoma and have a good wired connection (average is 16 mb/4 mb). I have had great connections with players in Florida, Oregon and Canada. When I play random online, I create my own room and play the AI until someone shows up.
I play fairly often and I can still find yellow bar matches from time to time. I can barely get people in my scene to play it, but some don’t mind. It was such a relief, when I went out to NC and found other people that liked the game. If anyone ever wants to play some KOF XII matches, feel free to hit me up

Ive been playing 12 a lot the past 2 days, and, I kind of like from what Ive seen so far. Ya its lacking a TON in a lot of departments, but the core gameplay doesnt seem all to shabby to me. I went online a couple times for fun an found matches no problem, though some were indeed laggy and I got my ass handed to me a couple times (ya, Im still a n00b). Anyways, ya, I understand some of the hate, but certainly not all of it.
xii is too simple and boring even if u compare it to 97/98… i just play XI… the game’s just too much fun… best tag game ever made… besides that sometimes i practice 02 to get used to the BC system… but they should really make a xi:um… with like every character ever to exist in kof in their best form…
