Anyone still play KOF '98?

I prefer KOF 2k2 but since I don’t have a stick and I’m stuck on lame wireless keyboard to play, I can only really handle 98 cus 2k2 has way harder inputs for moves and combos.

I’m a lot better on stick but I’m still pretty good on keyboard, just IM me on AIM (same sn as SRK) and we can play some matches.

(I also play ST)

Actually, 98 has the much more precise inputs required. If your controls are off in any way, Id play 2k2 instead. ST also requires more precise input than newer games, you weirdo.

Nobody wants to play you because you lag so much. Get a new computer or fix your connection, and then get back to us.

I haven’t played you in a longass time when I was in Seattle and you were in NY. I am now in Chicago witha new computer and DSL. If there’s lag, it’s not me.

I only really use ST since I can play Vega easily, I can’t DP for shit.

I dunno, there was lag last time, and I’ve had 6 people in one area where the ping was even worse than what there was yesterday, and it still ran much smoother than yesterday’s, hell, it ran like only 20 ping for something that was 53 for lowest and 71 for highest. I really think it is your computer because when I host, it goes smooth.

Oh yeah, speaking of more precise, I do think that 2k2 requires you to have more of a precise thing due to it being much faster and having a different playing style variety of chars. 98 is slower and doesn’t use too much of crazy weird combos like in 2k2.

Dude as soon as I played with just Kayin the lag was fine. I dunno why you kids don’t believe me when I say that 4p is more slower than 2p. If it was me lagging, me and Kayin’s games wouldn’t have been butter smooth.

Yeah, it ran pretty smoothly when I played Airthrow. 4P just sucks.
