I looked through my friends list at battle point rankings, and my lowest bp friend was 10 bps, and his rank was #80,000. So I guess there aren’t very many people playing online in ranked matches? Didn’t they sell like 4 million copies of this game or something, or was that mostly on xbox and ps3? Are you jlive13 shoto hunter, or a different one? That was #18 in ranked wins, I’m ‘aersixb9’, send me a msg and we’ll do a player series. Or anyone else. Also invites get priority since I’m lazy. ;p
Jilive11 yea, that’s me. A lot of people only play player matches or offline with friends. Ranked attracts the more competitive player to a certain extent. It also attracts cheaters, so you take the good with the bad.
What kind of cheats are available for sf4? I’m not one to cheat, in fact I’ve been playing sf4 over mw2 a lot mostly because of the cheaters in that game! 
They seem to have gotten worse lately, either that or the killcams make it more obvious. That being said, I can’t think of any way to cheat in sf4 that wouldn’t be obvious? I’m not sure macroing the moves to more buttons would be much of an advantage, and I did find ‘slo motion’ mode that is kind of like cheating if you’re used to it and they’re not by turning the graphics settings up all the way to the maximum with less than optimal hardware. Not sure if either of those count as cheats, and some sort of ‘invincibility’ or ‘speed’ hack would be painfully obvious in a 1v1 game where both players are always visible!

Did you get my friend request? Also it’s really easy to unlock all the characters…and a character unlocking titles and that sort of thing doesn’t really hurt my gameplay.
Using macros is indeed cheating, you can map lengthy combos to one key and you’ll never miss as long as you get the first hit in. Lag cheating is cheating as well. Cheating takes away from the fun of the game. There’s no reason to cheat. You’ll never really get any better if you do that. People alter their BP and ranking too. That’s another way of cheating but is completely pointless because people will know when they fight you that your stats and BP are fake, so what’s the point in that? I’m just about done with this game because of all the BS people do online. It’s ridiculous. While I don’t give two shits about winning or losing, I’ve lose like 5,000 matches lol, cheating and lying piss me off.
Macros for complex combos/links don’t work online because of the delay/lag. And no one is wasting their time setting up macros for bnb’s when it can just be done manually.
Lag ‘cheaters’ are just reversal spammers with a awful computer and a worse internet connection.
So please stop with the whining that everyone is hacking/cheating/etc. It just sounds ridiculous.

As far as “lag cheaters” go i will just quit as soon as i see the 20 fps kick in. Not gonna waste time on 5 minute rounds when most of these people just use ryu/ken and you will get hit by their reverals all the time. Anyway a long long time ago i did come across one guy who i think was using some sort of cpu slower or something. Basically every time i was mid BnB the game speed would drop to 20 fps causing me to fuck up and he would just reversal srk with ken. Then when we are on opposite sides of the screen, the game would go back to a normal 60 fps, lol.
and lol @ macros. The only time i have suspected someone of macroing is when they can input an ultra within half a second every single time, but then again it could just be that they just have really good reaction time. For combos though, as the guy above said, it will never work online. All you would see is a bunch of normals come out and maybe a special or something when they whiff, it would be so blatantly obvious.
Oh and also, now that i finally have a new laptop (yay). I can finally play this game at 1080p maxed out, except that theres a shitload of screen tearing. That means i need to use vsync and sacrifice some aa because vsync is a performance killer, i dunno if there are any alternatives to it though?

There are a thousand situations like that people use, so no, it’s not going to be obvious unless they’re setting their shit up like a dumbass. If someone is nailing ever single one link frame a character has with no sweat, there’s a decent chance they’re cheating. i dunno, when i played alot in the past i actually managed to nail akumas roundhouse loop a lot vs sagats and abels online. Its a 1 frame link, and it would be pretty pathetic if someone called me a cheater over that. However i do remember someone saying i macro because i could “pull akumas ultra off too fast” and that was when i got them after a focus crumple. Lol
You also failed at times too though correct? Probably a lot more than you realize. There are fighters online that don’t miss a single one link in multiple fights I have fought them. Even the pros miss links frequently because the timing is strict on them. Now when someone is nailing them left in right in addition to there being some lag, it’s suspect at the very least.
I’m pretty sure using more buttons = lose. I’ve thought about using macros and they seem completely worthless. Any stats/score cheats that don’t actually affect gameplay doesn’t bother me. I’m whining about mw2’s (and all multiplayer online fps) redboxing hack, where they replace the direct3d drivers with different video card drivers (modified add-on drivers) that draw red boxes through walls around all the enemy players, allowing easy winnings via wall-shooting or anticipation/flanking. Having even one person in the game blatently walling (or aimbotting, which is even more obvious and when set to 360 can give invincibilty and insta-kills on anyone in range/line of sight) totally ruins the experience and makes the game no fun. I’ve seen nothing of that sort of sf4, the comparison would be is if in 3/4 games your opponent was invincible or did 25x damage, making it technically playable but sort of bland and pointless. I’ve seen nothing of that sort in sf4, and calling the lag a ‘cheat’ is kind of weak, since I’m pretty sure lag occurs naturally. I’m also sure all the people complaining about losing to people using macros aren’t actually, they’re just making excuses for losing and combos are possible without macros, especially for people who play a lot. I would also think that I would see the macros as combos that miss occasionally, then keep doing the combo moves instead of reacting normally, which would be easily detectable since I can see my opponent 100% of the time, and I have never observed such a thing, leading me to think that no person I have played has every used a macro as opposed to good reflexes and extensive practice with that specific character, probably from sf2-sf3-sf4 for many of the top ladder players, since I’m now ranked at #11,701 !

You wouldn’t know a one frame link from you ass. :lol: There are forums outside of this one, I’m not going to link to them to get banned, with people teaching each other how to make macros for SF4 and bragging about how easy it is to win with them. One comment that made me laugh was a dude saying he couldn’t win basically at all before the macros as he thanked the other dude for telling him the secret, now he wins 9 out of 10 times. :lol: Are you seriously saying people don’t use lag switches? lmao Take 2 seconds and search on youtube. …not to mention all the people that will get murdered the first round, then deliberately download something to shit their connection on purpose. ahahahah There’s no debating whether or not people cheat on SF4, it’s a fact.
