Anyone here bought a VEWLIX kit from KRAY?

I assemble mine last night but dont know how to put the brackets for the Control Panel. Can you take a pic on where its place ludikun?

Also i haven’t put the TV holder yet either, as i dont have my tv yet…What’s a good 32" LCD to put in this, one with least amount of lag as possible.

edit where do you buy the speakers?

Well the speaker on top leaves enough room to add more graphics and when your sitting down the position of the TV is right there, eye level.

Is that a BX300? I almost bought that but I still went Panny and got the TC-32LX24 when I saw it was on sale at costco. Partly because it’s a Panasonic, and maybe slightly because the model number matched my handle :D.

Anyway, these new pictures just shows how well built these kits are. And those TV back brackets are not in a fixed position? Just screw it wherever your TV needs them to be? Sounds like a great idea if it is. Donovan’s original back mount is way out in the back and mounting the TV would require either outward mounting brackets or adding more wood to push the tv out towards the front.

I first attached the brackets on and made them flushed with the frame. Then added the control panel, went under it and marked it with a pencil to see were it lined up with the holes. Drilled and fixed on there.
And I used a Sony Bravia, little more expensive ($400) but very, very little lag worth it I’d say.

I bought them at Walmart for 24 bucks, sounds good if you connect them with a subwoofer.

Ludikun thanks man, i just got done doing the brackets for the control panel, 1st try too haha…Looks like i have to head over Walmart, is there a certain speaker or size i have to look for?

x24 - When did you buy that 32" at Costco?

I bought the tv at Best Buy about 2 weeks ago and the size for the speakers are a standard 4in with a little wiggle room to spare

Do you guys paint these things before or after they have been assembled? I got a guy who does auto paint and can paint it for me, I just wanna know should I put it together first or give it to him in peices.

haha yeah im kinda wondering about that myself, after assembling it, i notice that its going to be a real bitch trying to paint the legs & stuff…I’ll probably just paint all white just to make easier on myself

I bought it a couple of days ago, was $30 less and that discount ended the day after I bought it. I’ll post pics when the mount arrives on monday.

To make this easier to paint, you should first assembled the whole complete cabinet together not including the control panel.
(Leave the CP separate because you will prime and paint that by itself as well) Once all the pieces and screws are in place, now you can take it apart into 2 sections.
First the Legs and Arch as one and the Second section is the Bottom part of the cabinet. (Like the attached photos shown below).
You can take the speaker board out if you’re going to paint it black or different color.

Wow dude, that cab looks fucking fantastic (even when unpainted!)
My wife would cut my balls off if that showed up at the door however.

I like my balls.

These 4 pieces should be screwed in to keep the two legs stable.

That looks awsome Ludikun!!!

Rcadio, I’m glad you able to put in the latches.
Post some pic…

That seems rather counter productive on her part.

Yeah my asian wife was pissed when i ordered mine, especially when she saw 4 boxes delivered haha…Once i got assemble she was pretty amaze & my balls intact…Kray did an amazing job! I say order it man!

I’ll post pics of the latch later, i still haven’t put the LCD brackets as i dont have a tv yet. Not sure if i should wait until Black Friday to look for a tv…

i sold the cab idea to my wife as a peice of art furniture…i told her she wouldnt have to share the living room flat screen with my xbox an now she can watch her shows without me kicking her off. That did it !lol…

Which Sanwa JLF do i need to fit into the CP, i tried putting an old JLF i bought a few years ago & it wont fit. Its like the mounting is on the opposite side.

Probably going to pic up that Panasonic; that has little to no input lag right? I know the 1st first version had good reviews, is this the same? Do you have a link in showing the input lag test?

How do you wire up the car speakers?

I cant wait to get mine so I can start working on it…

Wow. Do want.
