The top mount of the sticks causing the longer throw ranges is really getting to me, and causing some adjustment issues when I move between my cab and my portable stick.
Has anyone else successfully mounted non JLF sticks with shorter shafts? Or is there a JLF compatible shaft that’s shorter? I found this thread ((shorter) JLF compatible shafts but it’s from 5 years ago…!

I took a chisel to mine a made it mounting height equal to my madcatz stick. Just need to be very careful.
Awesome! Which part did you chisel, exactly? The shaft itself? Isn’t there a flathead indentation for tightening the shaft on the bottom end?
No, I chiseled the cabinet where they mount. So they would mount lower and feel “proper”.

Did you end up getting one of these? Im looking at a few options for getting a vewlix or a clone.
They tend to have issues.
I know people who have to spend hours rewiring the wire-harness, and some people say the monitor is off-spec for HDMI.
