I left it on to make it easier to move around when I was trying to figure out the placement.
Looking at these pics makes me realize instead of having my vewlix clone done by a cabinet maker, I should have just waited a couple more weeks for the release of the Kraylix :(. I am happy with mine though, but the Kraylix is much more finished up front. Iām still trying finish up mine as far as cover panels and stuff. If I had a Kraylix, I should have been done months ago.

I couldānt wait to show off my cab and what it looks like so far in the daytime and at night. The night shots are really blown outā¦doesānt do the cab justiceā¦but trust meā¦fucking hype.

hey dirty-d how did you install/wire up the ledās in the marquee?
I bought a 25 inch fluorescent bulb from the hardware storeā¦I think it helps that I print all my work on photo back lit paper.
The same stuff you find in movie theaters and airport kiosks.

Dirty-D, I just finished a stickā¦ and would love if you could tell me how you did the fire effect in your templates. I tried and i couldnāt have anything near itā¦ If you were kind enough just to point out a tutorial would be more then enough.

I just finished building my cab and it works great. I will paint it this summer when i have more free time. In the mean time, i need some art for the cp hah

I know this is a weird way to get the effectā¦but the way I did it was a total flukeā¦While I was at work, I had to create some particle effects on our game engine. I ended up getting a effect on accident that I could not use at workā¦so I saved it for use in something else. Anywayā¦I used the plug-in FumeFx for 3dStudio maxā¦and after getting the lookā¦rendered out a few still frames and tweaked the shit out of them in photo-shop with blur filters and using the push tool here and there. Just a lot of experimenting really. My original file got erased at workā¦so I would need to screw around again at the home studio to get anything like that look again.
I have a ton of stuff going on this weekā¦but after that I will try and show aquick tutorial on how exactly this look was made for you.
as for buttons and my PCBā¦Iām currently using Seimitsu translucent blue buttons. The reason why is I have 4 LEDS hooked up on each button. 2 always onā¦ and 2 more on pressā¦for a total of 4 lit. I have 2 JLFās with baby blue bubble tops both with White LEDS to be on alwaysā¦and finallyā¦both of my PCBS are the PS360 pcbāsā¦they are awesome and a snap to put in.
Right now I show be finishing up the wiring on the last of the LEDS for the buttonsā¦and should be ready to show something late tonight or Tuesday.
Whew!..anywayā¦I have a test for a new game company I am applying forā¦so hopefully I can pass thisā¦and get a new awesome job.
