You can always drill your own holes at the bottom to make it discreet…
yea i was talkin to kray about this, i might do this as well, and as far as casters go rcaido i plan on putting some on my cabinet but haven’t got that far yet, shouldn’t be any issues
I downloaded the template that was uploaded earlier and I was wondering how do you open it. I see someone uploaded to megaupload but that page wont load up anymore.
Does anyone have the png files for this?
I asked this in the thread at the top, but this is probably a better place. Does the hand board sit fully flat or is it on a slight angle? It looks flat in all the photo’s but I think I’d prefer it angled slightly. Has anyone else moded theirs or built their own?
Yeah, I think this is going to be my route with handling the xbox360 set-up solution. On the bottom and out of sight, keeping the top of the control panel as close to the original cabinet’s design.
Do other non-TE sticks fit on the TE version of this cab? I am thinking of a multi console set up, but looking at the pics it looks like it is for the stick lines to match up with the cab. Doesn’t seem like there would be an option for a control panel where I could just plop in the sticks of my choosing and not worry about them falling off during play. Like, put in two agetecs for DC, two hraps for psx and etc. That would be awesome.
just got my cab together hopefully can get it painted this week, and maybe wired up by next week, so I can send some pics. I was wondering what the best option for speakers/amp would be for this?
Ok so i got my tv, now im trying to remember if there were actually screws to mount the monitor? Can someone let me know? Its been so long i may have misplaced them i honestly dont remember if it came w/ one.
no screws included to mount the TV, i couldnt find the exact threads to match my TV Asus 28MTE so i tapped them to 8-32
Jabaniz what speakers are you planning to use?
Ok so how does the tv mount in the kit? Does it come with some sort of brackets and I have to buy screws to fit whatever tv I buy? Or do I have to buy a wallmount of some sort?
I use carriage bolt to push the TV flush to the inside channel.
I might of not included in the carriage bolt on the early kit but it does come with the kit now.
The bolt and thread size is 3"x5/16- 20 and you can get them at Lowe’s or Home-depot for about .30c a piece.
The one shown in this picture is 4 inches and was too long. The one I includes in the kit is 3" long.

I have some request to add extra buttons under the CP.
I will make this standard on future kt just in case you need to wire them for admin.
I’m not going to pocket the button under the CP so you will have to use the HAPPs button. It won’t be shown so it doesn’t matter what type of button you use.
Looking good, there. Didn’t see the start, select, or home buttons. Where are you gonna put those? Also, which panasonic model are you using?
is there anything in that plastic bit at the back of the control panel close to the TV? would make a nice little storage area for pads
TC-L32S1 specs say 5ms …decent for my needs lol
i have just the guide an start button no real use for select and have mounted a p2 start button on the bottom for vs, my son has an xbox in his room so no dice on my cab being his storage lol but good idea …
haha fair enough man, I saw the pad in the pic and just though you could put something in there.
IS there anything in there? or is it just a cover for the wires that run from the CP to the console?
definitely looks like you could do something with it. LIGHT THAT SUCKER UP
yeh i am lighting it up, i just havent figuered out if i really want a move list though.
I had a questions about hooking up speakers. I am planning on placing an Xbox360 and a Mame PC in my Kraylix, but I wasn’t sure the best way to hook both up to the speakers. What is the best way to hook up both to the speakers while saving room inside for the 360 and PC and keeping decent ventilation?
