I don’t like having my actual info in my local host on IRC’s, and I don’t understand anything about Vhosts, so any help would be great.
Erm, I think you got it wrong. You can’t just get an vhost and expect your info not to get shown because you can always resolve that hostname and access to your IP and consequently your location, ISP, etc. Also, you could probably use reverse DNS resolution and get the same hostname you had before using the vhost.
To hide your info your best option is to use a bouncer or use a good IRC network that gives you vhosts that resolve to their own addresses and hide your IP, like QuakeNet.
