I retired from competitive gaming when a friend of mine, PSX2000 (SRK moderator and big contributor to the CVS1/CVS2 forums), passed away a few ago at the young age of 29. He was so excited to go to EVO that year (2011) too.
I still play games but on a casual level. My raptr account is still active and it says I average at least one hour a week. 
I will be going to EVO this year just to chill and meet more people within the fighting game community. Hawaii does get boring from time to time, so I figure going to Vegas and EVO would be a good reason to use some of my vacation time from work.
