the only thing gaming related that i’ve quit recently is trophy collecting. i used to love getting platinums and maxing out trophy lists, but i’m not sure i’m up for it anymore.
as for gaming itself, i have been curious about what kind of role it will play i my future. i’m 22, and i sometimes have people come in my room and look at me like, “… you’re playing video games?” like they’re only for little kids or something. i wonder if i’ll eventually get tired of them, if i won’t have time for them anymore, or if i turn back into a casual gamer hiss i really have no idea what will happen. there’s quit a few games i still want to get for my ps3. the ps4 looks cool, but we’re gonna have to check the price on that one.
i understand why you would want to quit fighting games, they probably take the most time of any genre, but that doesn’t mean you have to quit single player games. you can play them whenever you want, outside of getting used to the mechanics, they don’t require training, and when they’re done, they’re done, and you can play it again if you wish.
