Anyone able to shed some light on the Brook PS3 to PS4 adapter?

I can’t afford a new stick for PS4 so I want to buy a converter. So far the only one I’ve found is this:

Anyone got any experience with this? How would I find out if this is a good buy in terms of input lag etc? Or should I just take the plunge and buy it?
