Has anyone heard anything about when the next Blazblue is coming out? There wasn’t this much time in between CT and CS.
IIRC, one of the producers said in an interview that the series would be strictly concluded in three parts. Then later I heard complaint that Continuum Shift II was coming out, meaning a semi-sequel before we got to part three (see Super BlazBlue II Turbo HD Remix Special Furry Edition Gold), but it looks like CSII is a just an update to the arcade CS that adds the dlc characters.
In any case, I haven’t heard any news of any kind of sequel. Anybody?
I just checked Wikipedia, IGN, Arc System Works’ jp site, and Aksys Games’ website. I don’t know how I missed this, I think I might be in a sleep-deprived state. Actually, I think I may have ignored listings for PS Vita, but it will be on PS3/360 as well. Anyways, thanks for the help, adding the word “extend” made my google searches much more fruitful.
If anyone else was wondering, unfortunately it will be Super BBCS Turbo after all. More info here:

are you aware that usually fighting games have various revisions before going for the next iteration of the game
unlike other genres, the fighting games use the 1st version of the game to build from there, and this is always done through revisions
Of course I realize this (you should have been able to tell by my lame version title jokes), but in an interview at some point one of the producers (Toshimichi Mori I think) specifically said they were going to break from the norm and only release three definitive versions, i.e. no full titles in between that were just updates. They could have have stuck to this by making Extend DLC for CS, but it looks like thats not the case:
I’m not trying to b***h too much, I just said it was unfortunate, for the consumer I mean. I’m sure they were forced to this decision for financial reasons, Mori didn’t just decide he wanted to go back on his word. Obviously I’m still going to buy if it I was interested enough to make a thread about it. I think we still need to support the series if we still want to see “niche” titles make it out of Japan.
