Any tips on QCF x's 2 option select inputs on P1 side?

Normally I can do QCF easily on P1 side, but for some reason, when used as an option select, it comes out as a QCF x’s 1 input.

What game are you playing and can you explain that a bit more, I don’t know the x’s notation.
