oh alright, i didn’t think it was possible because you have to push both punches at the same time to dash and by rolling your fingers across i thought a hp would come out first but if you say it’s possible ok.
its possible, you just can’t do it slow. i dont know if he was doin it fast enough. i am in fact pressing two buttons for the dash. its like a fast two button roll. you don’t let go of the hp until right after the lp is touched. no human is perfect and i think the way the game works is you have a frame or two to input the command to make up for it. thats why i say you have to do it so fast. i do the roll so fast that im really the only one who knows that im doing a piano roll haha.
i used that method for storm tri.lk’s to ensure that the HP is let go of before the lk is hit to prevent lightning attacks. but now i’ve gotten used to doing it the normal way.

I pause a lil bit between the (dash+lk) and the final mk. *it might sound like i do 3 hits and stop but i actually do 3, and then the 4th and then immediatly start the cycle again. so i guess it sounds like 123 4123 4123 4123 4123 etc. *
and since ur fingers are already there u dont have to take the time to slide them so u have more leeway with timing. U dont have to do the the lk after the dash as fast as humanly possible
i have this shitty soul calibar stick at home and it isnt flat, its fucking curved, so my fingers are at different heights when they both touch the buttons. it fucks me up when i go from home to the arcade so i recently stopped using it.

thats the slide method buddy haha. for the claw method your lp finger always stays on lp.
No, he’s using claw. He just scrapes his index/middle over the lp/hp to dash (his thumb always on lk).
oh, my fault. i just saw fingers sliding and it looked like he used his index finger to hit lk.

There are definitely some good tips and methods of execution provided within this thread already. If I could contribute, I would suggest practicing triangle jump low kick using either method (slide/claw), then move towards the setup.
I have found that many people who learn this infinite have a hard time with the triangle jump low kick aspect, as they usually whiff the lk when dashing down after the initial sj. lk, lk. Also, putting all the parts together can sometimes be a bit difficult, so I would also suggest practicing each aspect on it’s own (i.e. launch, RH xx Dash df lk, lk…then proceed to the next step once that has been learned).
I like to tiger claw the stick when I play? 3 fingers are better than 4…
Did you use your middle and ring finger to dash, then use the index finger to tap the lk’s?
That’s probably the loosest joystick hold I’ve ever seen; two fingers. I learned the Magneto infinite on that joystick, too.
