Any Plans to Expand?

Are there any plans to expand the MK forum? It’s a big release and I think it deserves character specific forums. I’m trying to decide whether or not I should make a TestYourMight account. If the MK forum is expanded on SRK, I won’t have to.

I seriously doubt they will, seeing as Tekken only has one forum too. You’re better off making a TYM account.

SRK is a fighting game community, but it is still Capcom centric. I say leave SRK to only expand on Capcom titles, and have other affiliated sites with characters info. You are better off making an account at TYM imo.

MK on SRK is like going to TYM for SF. Its good, but it gets better.

The TYM character forums are pretty much deserted, at least for the characters that interest me. Is that the best the MK community has to offer? I am not trying to sound whiny (i know i am ), but it seems that every character forum for SSF4 had more threads before release than all the mk character forums combined. I am not much of a poster but i always liked to read the thoughts and opinions from other players regarding the characters.

Character specific forums only exist when the game is boring to the point people spend more time on the forums. Pretty good with Sub Zero but I wrecked my win rate trying other characters, then again I did use him a lot in the demo and doubt hes my best.

Kind of a catch 22. When more threads open up we will open up more forums. Then again who wants to read these forums when the front page is littered with such a hodgepodge of different topics.
