apex was legit until texas and that dude from so cal would run tournaments with imaginary players, or when they would include EVERYONE in the building for every game, even when they didn’t play.
I remember going into evo, shit was epic on the front page. It was like:

3. Soo
4. genghis
5. Davidl
all of them had like 15k points. Also, being able to look up your points was pretty fun, and it was a great was to catalog all the tournaments. It would be cool to bring back, but there aren’t enough tournaments anymore to really do it imho

Im sure nobody remembers me most likely its a good thing but I’ve been around since 2001 on a diff user name. I was Kenshin-Himura. Long story short I’ve forgotten my password and never got it back. Couldn’t be sent to my email because my account got deleted some how…Anyways, I consider myself an og here. I used to hang around the strategy section of this forum for Alpha 3 and CVS2. Thx to this forum my skills went up a great amount.

FFXI sucks your soul out and I didn’t realize people still play it. As much as I loved skillchains and the concept of the gameplay it felt too slow and clunky and I hated that you couldn’t really solo level. Perhaps this has changed of late but I hated the feeling of being useless alone and having to chocobo or sneak/invis through everything.
