Is there any trick so far for the oil bomb corner combos? I can’t seem to get the oil bombs to OTG.

So far my best damage has been 617,300 doing this (thanks to this thread):

Anyone found better than this? It’s pretty hard for me to do, my execution isn’t the greatest.

I did figure out how to do j.:m::s: loops, but I can only get 2. As I do it I’m thinking of buffering the entire thing into the previous :s: and I seem to be able to do 2 reps consistently like that but the 3rx seems brutally hard.

so you’re SJCing launcher into the boulder trap, having the boulder trap hit, launch them when they’re coming back down repeat? Just tryin to make sure I get what you’re doing correclty.

I need help with rocket skates cancels, in the video’s there a monster fast RR doing a upside down V and crossing up…how too??

The rocket skates, you sort of just do it, it seems if you start from the ground you can rocket skate 3 times in a row, but can’t cancel if you start in the air. Kind of weird seeing as you can cancel 1 air skate if you start from a grounded rocket skate. I have been doing f,uf,df and f,uf,uf mostly, f,uf,f sounds good but it puts you in your opponents face in recovery.

EDIT: Also it seems once you hit the ground the series is over, you can’t uf,df,f for example. It sounds like the crossover you are talking about is simply uf,df
Ok there just seems to be a heap of restrictions, because uf,uf seems to end the series as well, I guess it will need experimentation to see what works and what doesn’t.

I’m having a lot of trouble with the bear trap after landing, my opponent almost always seems to be out of range, is their a trick to this?

I set the training mode dummy on low block and found that j.M is not an overhead.

I was having that problem. I found that doing air normals sooner was the cure. So much so that i can get in range for viper’s otg assist mid screen now.

Hmm I’m trying but I can’t get them any faster without j.S whiffing totally.

EDIT: Hmm I’m getting just j.MS fine, I swear I was hitting j.MHS like it was nothing earlier though… I can’t have been that delusional.

OK so far my BnB then is

(any starter, I tend to just just j.:m::m::h: or j.:m::h: , I drop the loops a lot) > :m::h::d::h::f::h::s: > j.:m::s: > :dp::m: > :dp::h: > :s::atk: > :s: > j.:m::h: > any ender

For the ender I either do:

  1. 1 meter option: :dp::m: > :qcf::atk::atk:
  2. 3 meter+ option: :dp::atk::atk: (optional :qcf::atk::atk:)

In the Video below, there is an awesome combo for Rocket Raccoon. I got the notions by sight.

“air.M-M-H, L-M-H-(Hawkeye Assist)-f.H, QCB+H, Dash Forwards, Jump/Float-air.S(x5), S, sj.M-S, DP+M, DP+H xx QCB+AtkAtk”

yeah i do it super low, makes the instant overhead way trickier. I also made the combo better after watching a vid. (in the corner) After i do the launch j.m j.s to slam them, i throw out oil bomb and do cr.h to OTG, then relaunch j.m j.s, then beartrap, logtrap. They’ll bounce over me so i do spring super into rock and roll. :slight_smile: you can also go into level 3 after the spring super and it does like 920k

You aren’t supposed to shoot it in the air after you throw it with Cr.H? The spin out seems character specific too, like on Hsien Ko.

Man that raccoon loop with boulder is hard!
But if anyone else is going to attempt it I hope you have your hands down for it.

You can do any bread and butter all they way up to bear trap aka Mr. Flapper.

Then immediatly after boulder trap, normal dash forward(complete dash), S, tigerknee boulder trap x4 or x5

I believe its five but whatever have fun getting to two lol. Kidding its actually easy you have a lot of time to do the combo I just kept doing it to fast when you have to relax and let things finish their animations and what not. I still do it to fast once an awhile but you can do it.

As for the rom combo I have no idea how to do it :X Even with the annotations at the bottom of the video my stupid brain no comprende.

Has anyone figured out a solo, midscreen combo that does more damage than Maximillian’s BnB?

Has someone explained the whole jump canceling trap nonsense? I seem to be out of the loop -.-

If you are talking about the ones from Assist Me, then yes. Pretty much all the combos in this thread including mine do more I think. Mine does 630k for 1 meter and is really easy, as long as you remember to input Rock n’ roll immediately after the second bear traps input.

EDIT: And easily break 1mil with 4 meters. Not quite enough to ToD nemesis though, don’t know if anyone has higher health than him.
