hello everyone i am going to attempt my first mod on a wwe brawl stick. i want to replace everything with sanwa parts but i need some help on what i need to replace the stick. do i need a new mount and gate for the arcade stick? i play on a hori soul calibur 5 stick now, i think that one uses a square gate. does the brawl stick have a square gate and if it does do you guys recomend changing to octagonal or anything else?

all madcatz sticks come out of the box with a square gate and personally i recomend sticking to it because square gates are just better thanks to having all of the activation zones equal in size as for a new stick (some one correct me if im wrong) it should come with a gate and a mount when you buy it.
There’s a few things you can do with a Sanwa jlf,you can find a very good video on youtube for “modding a jlf” - they are very easy to do. I started with square gates but I like that you can switch them out easily with an octogonal or circle gate. Like Synchro posted, whenever you order a replacement stick it should come with a mount, square gate, and hopefully a wiring harness. I’m alittle interested in a Brawl stick to mod one day
