Ya know for the love of baseball Japan has. It doesn’t seem to go into anime alot
@maxx They have quite a few, actually.
Princess Nine
Major
Big Wind Up 1 & 2
Ace of the Diamond
Battery
Rookies
Rival A
Star of the Giants
Samurai Giant
Dokaben
Yakyuukyou no Uta
Those are just the ones I know off the top of my head.
My friends back home find it weird, confusing and frustrating that with as much as I hate actual sports (outside of Volley Ball) I will soak up sports anime’s and manga like a sponge lol
Sports Anime aren’t really about the sport though. I love Haikyuu but more for its relationship and character building. Could be a baseball or basketball Anime and I would still love it for its characters.
That’s 100% the reason I love them.
Yeah no one watches it for sport lmfao
I mean…in all fairness the reasons Haikyuu and Baby Steps caught my attention is because I actually do love both sports. (Volley Ball and Tennis respectively) They just both ended up being really, really good.
But generally yeah. I watch them for the character developments, character relationships and how they grow from the plot device that moves all of them forward.
I’m still upset that baby steps got axed, btw.
Baby Steps is my favorite sports manga.
Wonder if its actually a part of the SAC series or if they just doing that for marketing.
Sports anime is awesome because they can take even the most mundane shit in a sport and make it some epic level super human shit.
Eh, the best ones are the ones that don’t do that IMO lol
What do you mean? This shit is dope!
I likes the john cena bumblebee movie
I want real ninja turtles not cgi monsters
