soo ive been on a naruto kick and realized i skipped the end of naruto. i think i fell off and ive been backtracking and really like how weird this story got at the end. Kinda makes me think everything wasnt out of kishimotos ass like we originally thought and prob more to do with editor shenanigans. but to anyone who followed the series…
how long is this series supposed to be? because between the first to 5th hokage doesnt feel like a long time at all. It feels like its probably 100-150 years tops maybe.
It’s a little over 100 years if you take in Tsunade’s age (she’s 53 as of Shippuden) and knowing she’s the first Hokage’s granddaughter.

I heard Kishimoto made the mistake to make Madara too strong. In the end he couldn’t get a plausible way to kill him so he resorted to ask advice to his assistants.
i read the whole thing but in the anime after sasuke first fought killer bee shit got to my nerves. it’s such a drag with some many filler episodes in between source ones, when I found out they were putting filler mixed with the manga in the same episode I fucking gave up and dropped it entirely.

Wasn’t saying it went to ass at all. I wasn’t referring to the end when I was talking about pulling stuff out of his ass. 2/3 of the way through the series allow of people complained that he was making stuff up as he goes. And it’s clear that isn’t true, especially how the end ties do much of the lore together with the war arc and the ending.
Naruto kept flip flopping back and forth between “you don’t need kyuubi” to “you need kyuubi”. The writer pulled shit out of his ass like Naruto naturally has high chakra that’s why he doesn’t need kyuubi. Pretty sure the writer didn’t know wtf he was doing during those times.
Also shadow clone training was the dumbest shit. Waited so long for the time jump to come hoping for Naruto to get stronger only to find out he didn’t learn jack shit.

He was implied to have high Chakra really early in the series. That’s why he could do crazy about. It’s when that is drained the kyuubis obscene Chakra kicks in.
Was that actually stated early in the series or did that get explained in Shippuuden?
I don’t remember. I just assumed Kyuubi gave him a larger than normal chakra pool which is why only he can handle shadow clones.
It was explained in the series from jump by Kakashi. That’s why he was good at kage bushin no jutsu. Whenever he generally got a kyuubi assist and went red. The other assist early was against neji when he shut down his Chakra pathways and the kyuubi gave him extra that overrode the shut down.
But yeah he’s always had a big reserve they just went into more detail later on that it was from his mom’s side
