Anime & Manga Thread v.6.0 Crunchyroll Sucks Now, Come Back Funimation! Come Back!

Dude it was a slog but man that ending was well a ending. Watching that trailer has the early 2000’s feels coming back to me.

Just started Cautious Hero. I love that it’s an isekai making fun of Isekai’s

I wonder who else has kids

Inuyasha better explain stuff in the new series. Because I am not going back through 10 fuckin years of anime or W. E to remind myself of everyone

Also wtf I rather have a Ranma 1/2 run back

This. This right here. Like, goddamn. At least finish animating the rest of the manga, and then just do a movie or whatever for a real ending.

I guess Rumiko just doesn’t like closure in her series though. She didn’t want to give Inu Yasha a real ending until her editors made her.

It’s the fuckin far superior series in every aspect. It’s also prob the reason I can’t get into inuyasha too hardcore. Ranma was just too fuckin good

Ranma was just as bad as Inuyasha when it came to dragging on plots for too long. I have less patience for it in a rom com.

Which part of the plot? They usually have short arcs, at least the Mangas arcs take place over a few chapters. Unless you just mean Ranma and akane themselves.

Ranma barely had a plot, once the major recurring characters have been introduced you can basically skip between story arcs out of order besides the final one. Urusei Yatsura was the same. Inuyasha just wasted your time with needless power building for Inuyasha (logical as the main action lead but terrible in terms of they handle it plus they sucked mostly visually), Sesshomaru and Naraku.

That’s also what soured me on collecting the manga volumes when they finally started releasing them over here in the states because they would have this big ass “FROM THE CREATOR OF INU YASHA” logo right on the front of them.

And yeah, Ranma’s plots were really short. The longest one being the Jusendo arc which lasted a whole two volumes of the manga. After that would be the Higo Forest and Musk Dynasty arcs at a volume and a half.

Short arcs helped alot for the comedy for me. Their are plenty of Mangas with long arcs, it helped differentiate it for me. Plus the comedy of the Manga was laugh out funny. I still read some of my old trades and still laugh at shit 15 years later

The manga centers on two women as they travel their own individual paths in pole dancing:
Hana, a college student who also pole dances in night clubs despite her family’s disapproval; and Karin, a practitioner of pole sports who looks down on night club pole dancers.

Fuck

I mean kenshin author paid 3000$ and got off free

Welp, that is a shame for the fans, although I do hope he gets punished more then just a slap on his wrist.

Edit: @dab00g yeah but that was just videos here he straight up approached young girls on the streets and didn’t even deny it. But fuck Kenshin’s creator though as well.

I mean jump gave the pedo guy his job back

So don’t worry

Like Wellman said, he got nailed for procession which I guess in Japan means he can walk away with a slap on the wrist. Act-Age writer got caught actually preying on children. I doubt he walks away.

I hope so

Kenshins creator was a pedo? My heart is shattered, I loved that series. Wtf :sob:

Love the work… Not the person. Also don’t pay for shit lol.
