I really really hope that’s gonna be based on the original print and not the previous Blu-Ray where they went in and changed all the blues and greens to that ugly as fuck orange they used Innocence.

My niece is a huge Pokemon fan so I got her some manga that I’m gonna give her for Christmas.
I was reading a few chapters of the first volume and I really like Mato’s art. Apparently this Pokemon manga is really good and is still going to this day. I’m not a big Pokemon fan but I did end up buying myself the same two books I got for my niece.
The title of this sounded so intriguing that I figured I’d give it a look.
Got vols 2 and 3 also.

It took her one year to start one piece and has caught up to current. Both manga and anime. THAT was a grind. During our early unemployment/lockdown time she went through all of Naruto. Yeah she can be a trooper

I’ll watch Yashime maybe when it’s finished. The magazine had to FORCE the author to kill Naraku and end the series after dragging in on for years

Not any ex-Yakuza, the most feared Yakuza that strikes fear into anyone that’s heard of him. And he brings that energy to daily mundane errands. The series is fun and hilarious. It’s very lighthearted and episodic. Been following the (somewhat janky) fan translations since chapter 1, so check those out if you want a taste. Didn’t know it was picked up for official stateside release—I’ll definitely support it.
