Either or, I thought it was pretty lame. The episode builds up drama and then in the end it was just some weak reasoning behind it. At least they’re past it I guess. Also just got started on Katanagatari. I should kick myself for leaving this until now. Loving every single second of it, NisiOisiN doesn’t disappoint.
Aku no Hana #3 dude got bitch raped so bad and that redhead is still fugly as hell. I mean couldn’t they have gotten a better model than that, isn’t she suppose to be giving off some evil seductress type vibes? Instead it’s more like pent up frustration for being fugly lol
That volunteers club romcom thing ain’t bad. It tries to do some of the same verbal jousting as Bakemonogatari, but NisiOisiN is just king as that so it comes off kinda flat as a result. I give it props for trying though, and the dialogue isn’t exactly typical terribad stuff that you normally see in these types of shows, so it’s still watchable. The OP being sung by Yanaga Nagi (Supercell’s first vocalist) is a nice plus too.
EDIT: Just finished the fourth Katanagatari episode. They hype up his fight with Japan’s strongest only to skip it entirely and show his sister being a boss loli instead. Talk about getting baited bwhahaa.
^ I just finished it. It was spectacular. Beautiful music heightening the intensity of the battles, the struggle between powers, all the strange trippy visuals and sound effects. It was a cool experience.
Also, Shoutouts to Triple Seven Mode, because that was BEAST.

Well there were one set of subs you can find on kickass that’s separate from the video itself. I watched it off animefreak and the timing on the subs were a tad late.
