God, i wanna get back into space bros but…I think my anime spree is over. I cannot bring myself to watch anything. Just thinking of watching an episode makes me bored, even with a series I like. Time to go back into hibernation it seems.

Yea I watched the first episode of Spice and Juggs and it wasn’t too bad. Will watch more. I could see me growing to dislike the Demon King easily if the scales tip much farther into silly bouncing rubber boob territory.
Jojo 13 was awesome as usual.
Minami-ke and Azumanga Daioh are the only series you need to bother with.
It’s typically not like that in the manga…in fact, outside of the maid constantly calling them “useless meat” they really aren’t a thing at all. The more noteworthy thing about her is that she’s just really, really smart.
I just finished the Gungrave TV series. The drama and characterization was very good, I even cried manly tears at the end. Contrary to my expectations, the action and gunfights take a backseat behind the storytelling. Perhaps that is a good thing because the animation of the action scenes do not impress much at this day in age.
I really enjoyed Gungrave. I fell like it’s Trigun older that predicates itself on the characters and their relationships elements while having stylish action scenes. Which I found delightful because my favorite parts of Trigun were the character elements. Specially the Vash & Knives relationship.

As Alibaba demands entry into the Balbadd Palace, the guards on duty deny him entry as the crowd of Balbadd citizens begin pelting them with stones. Alibaba says that they’ll stop if he manages to gain entry to talk to Ahbmad and the guards allow him to pass and open the gates. Before entering the palace grounds, Alibaba summons Amon’s fiery power and proclaims to the masses that he will work to fix/change the state that Balbadd is currently in. Somewhere, the Kou princess inquires to her vassal Ka Koubun about the extent of Judal’s injuries and he replies that it will take some time for him to recover considering that many of the bones in his body were broken in his fight with Ugo. The princess then wonders why she has to partake in the political wedding with Ahbmad and Ka Koubun says that it’s for the purpose of the Kou Empire to secure Balbadd, due to it’s location, which would help the Kou Empire spread it’s influence into western lands. The thoughts of experiencing love weigh on the princess’ mind, as she thinks of Sinbad, and also of Ahbmad, who she hopes is a wonderful person, since she has yet to personally meet him.
Inside the throne room, the Banker offers the three Kou Empire warriors (the ones who appeared with the Kou princess) as a sort of betrothal gift to be Ahbmad’s elite guards. A ruckus involving Alibaba’s sudden appearance alerts Ahbmad to his presence and the Balbadd ruler orders him to be killed. One of the Kou warriors (Entai) goes to meet Alibaba and transforms into an elephant beast. Alibaba tries to utilize his Djinn (Weapon) Equip, but he is unable to utilize the technique well and is only able to channel some of his magoi into his metal vessel (dagger) instead, while trying to avoid the elephant beast’s attacks. Ahbmad notices Alibaba’s abilities and the Banker goes on to speak about it’s significance: dungeon clearer and king candidate status. The thought of Alibaba being ‘significant’ doesn’t sit well with Ahbmad.
Entai manages to overpower Alibaba with an attack and as he prepares to crush him, Alibaba has thoughts of various people who support/believe in him, as well as doubts. However, Alibaba breaks free from the thoughts and evades Entai’s attack, as well as managing to wound the beast. As Entai begins a charging attack, Alibaba begins to concentrate on focusing Amon’s fire into the dagger and upon doing so, he cleaves the elephant beast into two with one slash from a magical black sword that Alibaba is now wielding/has materialized in place of his dagger (metal vessel). Seeing that Alibaba has overcome his attacker, Ahbmad orders another of the elite trio to attack/kill him. Alibaba charges forward but is stopped by some monster monkeys who possess remarkable regenerative ability, though he manages to push them back, somewhat, at the expense of his draining magoi. As Alibaba rushes at their leader (a monkey beast), Morgiana interrupts the fight. Though she is a bit angry that Alibaba didn’t ask her for help, Morgiana understands that this is something that he needs to do and offers to handle the monkey troupe herself. After throwing Alibaba beyond a wall into the inner sanctum of the palace, Morgiana prepares for battle against monkey beast, in a sort of rematch from their last meeting. Elsewhere, Sinbad learns of Alibaba’s entry into the Balbadd palace on his own and he decides to head to the palace as well. As Sinbad departs, something begins to happen to Aladdin.
Inside the palace, Alibaba encounters the last of the elite trio, a beast swordsman, and manages to cut through one of his weapons with Amon’s sword. However, as Alibaba goes for another strike, his magoi runs out for his Djinn Weapon Equip, reverting Amon’s sword back into his dagger. Alibaba then recalls a method of regaining magoi in battle from Sinbad. He douses the beastman with oil and uses his dagger to ignite it with a spark, then channels the flames into the dagger, which summon Amon’s sword for an attack that easily cuts through his attacker, like with the elephant beast. Outside, Morgiana is having some trouble dealing with the monkeys, while trying to get to their leader. She recalls how Masrur was able to charge through a crowd with a single rush attack and when she tries the technique herself, it lacks the impact of the male Fanalis warrior. Morgiana then begins to build speed/power by rebounding off of some nearby structures and with three mighty charge attack, she is able to take out the monkeys and deal a deadly blow to the monkey beast leader.
After Alibaba finally makes his way into the throne room, upon entry he sees the remains of some defeated warriors (the result of the display of power from the Kou elite trio) and moves to confront Ahbmad, who responds by telling his soldiers to kill Alibaba after the Banker tells him that Alibaba’s magoi reserve has been exhausted. Though Alibaba only wants to talk/reason with Ahbmad, the soldiers are confused in what to do and only manage to restrain him. Sahbmad then steps forward and commands the soldiers to let Alibaba go and with the help of Barkak (loyal general to the former king), Alibaba is freed. The outburst from Sahbmad (and Barkak’s actions) makes Ahbmad think that he is pulling a coup d’etat and Ahbmad begins to belittle Sahmad. Sahbmad has had enough and after seeing that Alibaba has made he way here with his own courage and resolve, the Deputy King commands the soldiers to sheathe their weapons and not interrupt the talk between Alibaba and Ahbmad. As Ahbmad curses Sahbmad’s action and can’t believe what is happening, Alibaba steps forward and says that he is here to change the current state of Balbadd.
