The word you’re looking for is moaning and, god, how else are they supposed to sell the moves? At least, so far, it’s less orgasmic than most women’s tennis. I also appreciate (and the WWE PPV last night had this too) the fact that anything wrestling related, apparently, still needs to include a ‘Don’t try this at home’ warning.
It seems that Trigger is put alot of these freeze frame bonuses in the first ep. During the scene where Ryuko’s being introduced to the class, one nerd has some action figures for the Hulk and Sentinel (and some other dude I can’t identify).
By this logic, why would you watch or do anything unless it’s totally unrealistic? Why would you watch a sitcom when you can have friends over and tell jokes yourself? Why play a shooter when you can just buy a gun? Why play Street Fighter when you can take boxing lessons? Why watch a documentary or historical drama when you can just read a textbook?
Gin no Saji/Silver Spoon - For such a simple premise this show is so well written, in my opinion. It’s a character driven story that doesn’t need to force situations with the characters. The story telling for this series feels very ‘organic’ to me. It doesn’t need to force situations and can develop the characters more naturally. I have no clue about agricultural schools but I really enjoy the attention to detail and the personal struggles of the main character. I’ve read that the mangaka grew up on a farm during her childhood so I guess she’s drawing from her own experiences. The main character is someone that most people coming out of high school can relate with. I’m not sure how I want to define this series but I want to say it’s a coming of age story.
You watch a story for the character development. If its not good, then it doesn’t matter what kind of story it is.
Ippo, Kuroko, Slam Dunk, CV, all have good character development so I watched them all. Seeing what those characters do AFTER their developments is what makes series exciting
The biggest problem I see now is they’re left in a situation where the Armored and Colossal titans are outside the walls and could now kick down gates anywhere they want in the future. I expect some sort of jump in time after this though. Mikasa has to be able to heal, as well as Levi.
This is kind of why sports animes tend to exaggerate the rules and abilities of the game/characters because the sports aspect would be pretty boring otherwise.
I think there is more character development in Sci Fi, fantasy or any action anime, since people die, or get killed. Even in attack on titan or some other anime that characters dont have super powers they see all this shit is going on around them that makes them change. Even in Bio Booster guyer it was complete luck he found the guyver unit. On top of that he has to deal with aliens trying to kill him, kill his friends, kill his family. Even in like or action animes like Jojo that shit would never happen in real life, but ive seen more character development in that then any drama ive seen
Okay, and they’re going to be doing something while developing that character, whether it’s fighting a boss, studying agriculture, becoming the best ___, getting the girl, or what have you. Why’s sports so off the wall?
The thing about sports anime is it’s basically exactly like fighting anime, only with a sport in place of fighting.
EDIT: Wait, did you just say that certain shows have better character development because people get killed? Okay, nevermind.
im tired of all these modern anime where all the characters look like a 12 or 13 years old. How long are they gonna drag out this shit. They need to go back to the 90s style where all characters are grown adult.
