HunterxHunter fandom still getting shit on. Waiting years for a single update to their beloved Manga.
Kyoukai no Kanata #1 was very underwhelming. Maybe I just had too high of an expectation out of this? I dunno, it just wasnāt as exciting as I thought itād be nor did it grab me like I was hoping for. Only still one episode in though, so itās still got time to live up to that trailer.

there is only one anime i have skyrocket expectations for this season and thats KUROKO BASKETBALL 2nd season!!!
It was very low key. Characters were so-so. Humour not so great, felt outta of place and mistimed for the most part. Action and choreography were a little hollow with no real pull behind it all (especially when thereās literally nothing on the line here). Then when it kind of started to get interesting, it decides to bait and switch instead. The second time, it goes and does a cliff hanger cause it probably figured thatās the shit nowadays. Except thereās nothing for me to invest myself in the show yet, so it just comes off as annoying than suspenseful. I was expecting something more mind-blowing to break the typical KyoAni mold as of late and I didnāt see it with the first episode. That trailer was either overselling the series or the 1st episode was just incredibly refrained.

Clearly, they are some kind of metaphor for the hope of a new era of youthful and sexual exploration in a barren and sexless Japan.
Besides, if the meet Akira or whatever, who do you think he is going to want to see? Some dudes in hazmat suits? Or school girls? The answer is obvious.

LOL, The skirts in Coppellion are ridiculous, it pisses me off. they are super mini skirts, and the wind is blowing constantly, helicopters flying around, those things should be flying up above their waists 24/7, yet they have that stupid anime slightly blow but never above a certain point thing going for them, not a single panty shot. If youāre gonna have this kind of fan service go 100% dammit, not this cop out garbage.
Aside from the that, these 3 characters are very standard, nothing speacial. Wheres the crazy chick. 
The whole time I was like, if youāre going to make the skirts THAT SHORT, stop trying to play innocent and at least make them act normal. otherwise, just make them a reasonable length. :lol:
KLK was entertaining from the live stream. Lets see what Trigger can do to follow through for 2 seasons.

Like, for a group of supposed geniuses, they didnāt really seem to have a lot of vision. I mean, considering they were apparently a large scale manufacturer of weapons, had a dooms day missile, ability to hack the ultra high tech city systems to their benefit, political sway in the police force and at least some clout in the intellectual community. Youād think they wouldnāt have too much time taking over. Hell, I would have just skipped right to the āuse missile to kill everyoneā if I really wanted to take espers down a peg. I also, I could have sworn the robots got nerfed. Like, werenāt they stronger like, 10 episodes ago? Now they are getting overpowered by normals with sticks. Finally, its kind of embarrassing watching Saten because they try so hard to make her useful when a 14 year old girl with no powers and no remarkable traits really isnāt going to be very useful. Misaka! Shoot that lighting! Kuroko! Teleport stuff! Uiharu! Do some computer thing! Satenā¦carryā¦that bag of candyā¦over thereā¦ to thereā¦ok.

First ep of Kill al Kill was pretty crazy, doubt it will keep that pace though, which is a shame as the crazy is the only reason Iām watching. Couldnāt even begin to care less about the story. Comedy and animation were top notch too.
I had a hard time keeping up with the pace of Kill la Kill. I often had to backtrack to take everything in.
How many episodes is Kill la Kill supposed to be? This pace is too break-neck to keep up for 25/26 episodes.
Edit: According to wikipedia itāll be 12 episodes? If so it could very well be insanely awesome throughout.
